QJMotor prepares a naked of more than 1,000 cc with 144 HP and a price that can break the market

Just two months ago, QJMotor announced the arrival of its new SRK 921 at the brand’s official dealerships in Europe. Far from settling for this, the brand is already working on its older sister, the SRK 1051. Same bike and same technique, although with more displacement, power and probably a technological plus. In short, the Chinese firm’s biggest bet within the competitive naked segment.

QJMotor SRK 1051 2027?: what we know

QJMotor has been working on its new range of high-performance sports models for several years, including naked and Sport variants developed on the same platform. Specifically, the same one that MV Agusta used at the time in its frames with the 921 cc tetra-cylinder engine. This is precisely the same mechanical compendium released in the SRK 921, but also in its sister the 921 RR.

Starting from this same base we have the SRK 1051 RR, which increases the diameter of its cylinders from the original 73 mm to the current 78 millimeters, maintaining the 55 mm stroke. Now, as expected, QJMotor announces a new naked model powered by this same engine.

In the image and likeness of the aforementioned SRK 921, the Chinese brand is committed to giving it that extra performance of the 1051 RR variant. In this way we would have a final power of 144 hp at 11,000 rpmwhile the maximum torque would rise to 105 Nm at 9,000 revolutions. Although the rest of the technical specifications with respect to its younger sister would remain unchanged, mainly those related to its cycle part, there would be some changes in general terms of dimensions.

While the SRK 921 declares total measurements of 2,130 (length) x 930 (width) x 1,130 mm (height), in the larger displacement version these would become 2,092 x 790 x 1,140 mm. Variations are also observed in the wheelbase, which goes from 1,425 mm to 1,435 mm. Finally, the seat height is reduced to 830 mm from the initial 835 mm of the existing model.

On the contrary, there are no changes in the maximum declared empty weight: 218 kilograms. Nor in other key aspects of the model such as the choice of tires: 120/70-17 and 190/50 ZR17, front and rear respectively. As for the suspensions, the inverted fork would be maintained at the front, while at the rear axle we would have a monoshock absorber; both elements fully adjustable and signed by Marzocchi.

Something similar would happen with the braking system where it is very likely that this SRK 1051 will end up mounting Brembo ‘Stylema’ monobloc radial calipers in charge of biting two 320 mm brake discs, while at the rear it is a 260 mm disc and a single-piston floating caliper that are in charge of carrying out this task.

All this combined with a cutting-edge technological package: Ride-by-Wire, Quickshifter, cruise control, TCS, launch control, 6-axis IMU cornering ABS, heated seat and grips and a 1080p Dash Cam, would be among its main elements. We only have to know two essential aspects about this SRK 1051. We are referring to its official price and the exact moment in which it will arrive at the brand’s dealers.

Currently the SRK 921 2026 is already available in some places in Europe at a price of around 10,000 euros. It is very likely that the 1051 will exceed this figure, although not by much. In this way it would offer, as is usual in the brand’s motorcycles, an excellent quality-price-performance ratio, although this is something that we will probably not discover until next season.
