QJ Motor raises the bar with its SRK family

QJ Motor does not want to limit itself to competing in the access segments or to reinforce its presence with practical and rational motorcycles. The brand is now taking a leap in character with the arrival in Spain of three models that significantly raise the bar within its sports range: the new SRK 800, SRK 800RR and SRK 921. Three different motorcycles, but united by the same idea: four-cylinder engines, top-level components and a staging clearly inspired by competition.

The offensive comes at a key moment for the manufacturer, which continues to gain presence in the European market and also seeks to position itself among users who want something more than a functional motorcycle. Here we talk about performance, sound, aggressive aesthetics and technology applied to sports driving. And QJ Motor has chosen a very symbolic showcase to show its cards: the MotoGP Grand Prix of Catalonia, in Montmeló, taking advantage of the link with the QJ Motor-MSi Racing Moto2 team and the sponsorship of Grupo Motos Bordoy.

The new SRK family thus begins to play in a much more emotional league. Until now, the range was made up of models such as the SRK 125, TRX 125, SRK 600 and SRK 700, but with these three additions the brand fully enters the territory of medium and high displacement sports cars. And it does so with an interesting strategy: it does not propose a single motorcycle for everyone, but three very different interpretations of the sport concept.

Three versions in the SRK family for all tastes

The SRK 800 will be the first to reach dealerships and is presented as the most balanced option in the family. It is a sports naked with a 778 cc four-cylinder engine, 95.2 HP at 10,000 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. On paper, its figures place it in a very attractive area for those looking for a motorcycle with real thrust, but still usable on a daily basis. It is not a circuit radical nor does it pretend to be: its approach combines performance, logical ergonomics and an aggressive image, with a muscular tank, sharp LED front and sequential turn signals.

Its cycle part is also interesting. The SRK 800 has a double beam aluminum chassis, preload-adjustable Marzocchi suspensions and a declared weight of 207 kg in running order. The braking system uses Brembo, with double 320 mm front discs, 260 mm rear discs and ABS. Added to this is a complete electronic package for its category: electronic accelerator, three driving modes, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, disconnectable traction control, TPMS and 5-inch TFT instrumentation with connectivity and navigation.

One step above, in attitude and approach, appears the SRK 800RR. It uses the same 778 cc block as the naked, but wraps it in a much more radical concept. It is a faired supersport, with an aesthetic very close to competition and aerodynamic solutions worked in a wind tunnel. The front winglets, the front air intake and the sharp fairing reinforce that image of a motorcycle born looking at the paddock.

QJ Motor assures that the electronics of the SRK 800RR derive from the brand’s experience in the WSBK championship. In addition, it incorporates a six-axis IMU, an important element because it allows systems such as ABS to be managed more precisely depending on the dynamic conditions of the motorcycle. The brand declares an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, a figure that makes it clear that this RR version is not just an SRK 800 dressed for racing. Its aluminum monocoque chassis with a double beam structure and the engine as a structural part seek rigidity, lightness and precision.

The third protagonist is, probably, the most spectacular of the three: the SRK 921. This streetfighter becomes the new flagship of QJ Motor’s Street range and arrives with a design signed by Adrian Morton, from the C-Creative studio, historically linked to the MV Agusta universe. And that is noticeable in the visual approach. The SRK 921 features taut lines, an aggressive front, single-sided swingarm, raised double exhaust, star-spoke wheels and a daytime running light signature inspired by bull horns.

But the SRK 921 does not live on image alone. Its inline four-cylinder engine, 921 cc, 16-valve DOHC distribution and liquid cooling delivers 129.3 HP at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm at 8,000 rpm. It is the most powerful naked of the brand and wants to combine smoothness at low speeds with a forceful response when the throttle is opened decisively. QJ Motor has also worked on the sound, seeking a deeper personality at idle and sharper during acceleration.

In the chassis part, the SRK 921 mounts a mixed steel and braided aluminum chassis, adjustable Marzocchi suspensions, steering damper and Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires, with a powerful 190/50 ZR17 rear size. Its electronics are also the most advanced in the series, with six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, traction control, Rain, Normal and Sport modes, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring and rollover protection with automatic engine shutdown in the event of a fall.

In terms of availability, the SRK 800 lands imminently with a price of 7,499 euros, third-party insurance included for the first year and a reservation campaign that, until Friday, May 22, allows access to extended comprehensive insurance. It will be available in white/silver and black. The SRK 800RR and SRK 921 will arrive in the range from July.

The commercial cherry on top is the official six-year warranty, transferable if the motorcycle changes ownership and backed directly by QJ Motor. An important argument for a brand that seeks to convince not only through price, but also through trust. With this offensive, QJ Motor makes it clear that it wants to play strongly in the sports segment: three motorcycles, three characters and a common message. The SRK family no longer just looks at the city or the road; Now it also looks, without complexes, at the world of benefits.
