The love affair between watchmakers and the Isle of Man TT is legendary. The last to join this type of collaboration is TW Steel, which has just launched the new TW1119 x TT special and limited edition. A chronograph destined to seduce lovers of the legendary British track who are also lovers of sports watches loaded with charisma and personality.
TW Steel TW1119 x TT in detail
As explained by the brand at the launch of its latest limited series Isle of Man TT Races TW1119 chronograph watch, this “brings together the legacy of TW Steel’s iconic Canteen collection and the energy of the world’s most legendary road race”. A special series that has among its main elements a Ronda Z60 quartz chronograph movement Swiss made and a battery with a maximum life of up to 50 months.
It is also Water resistant to a depth of 100 m (10 ATM). At the finish level, the double-layer blue color that presides over its dial stands out, and above it the anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The distinctive orange TT-inspired details and the official TT logo at 6 o’clock certainly make the difference.
The heart of the machine is embedded in a 46mm diameter high quality 316L steel case, wrapped in turn by a PVD-coated casing also finished in blue. To top off this exclusive collector’s piece, TW Steel has equipped its new TW1119 x TT with a dark blue leather strap with orange stitching.
From the company they explain that their new chronograph watch is “inspired by the atmosphere, prestige and intensity of the TT race week.” And they continue to argue how “The TW1119 combines bold motorsport design with refined details”.
