The team Barni Spark Racing Teamin collaboration with Mectronichas recently presented the new electronic kit dedicated to the Ducati Panigale V4 2025–2026, compatible with base, S and R versions of the model and equipped with the brand’s double arm swingarm. The system has been developed to provide advanced electronic management of the motorcycle in Superbike configuration.
This allows you to manage the different functions it offers, being fully customizable according to the pilot’s needs. Among them we can highlight:
- Traction control
- Anti-wheelie system
- Engine brake
- Throttle response and torque curve, etc.
Electronic kit for Ducati Panigale V4 in detail
The electronic kit integrates the MKE8 ECU and the MKL4 module to control four lambda sensors, with active adaptive fuel injection and closed loop operation during track use. At the end of each session, the system allows the acquisition and analysis of data to create optimized injection maps based on the specific meteorological conditions of said session.
A key element of the project is the Bosch IMU inertial platformwhich operates at 1000 Hz and works in synergy with all the systems in the kit to ensure extremely precise and responsive dynamic management. The entire electronic ecosystem operates at 1 kHz, guaranteeing competition-grade performance and control.
This electronic kit also includes the ACQ 3.5-inch color 2D TFT control panel (Mectronik version), with integrated data logging, 25 Hz GPS and the PBH1 module for intake trumpet lift control. Likewise, the JetPrime dashboard is included, developed specifically for integration with the kit.
From a transmission point of view, the platform allows the use of a load cell in the shift linkage, replacing the standard road system and guaranteeing smoother and more precise gear changes, in line with racing configurations. Regarding calibration, there are specific maps available for both the Ducati Panigale V4 R with Akrapovic Performance Pro exhaust and the Panigale V4 S with Performance exhaust.
These solutions allow the complete configuration of the different motorcycles, both in terms of wiring and electronic calibration. This new competition electronics kit is supplied complete with specific brackets for mounting additional ECUs and a duct system for electronic cooling.
Three product solutions are offered: one basic versionwhich allows complete management of the vehicle without technical limitations, and optional kits such as the lambda kit for advanced fuel and engine control sensor kitwhich integrates linear suspension sensors and brake pressure sensors for advanced driving analysis.
The basic electronics kit already includes sensors for water and oil temperature, fuel and engine oil pressure, and intake air temperature, as well as complete customization of the control and inertial platform. To achieve a configuration as similar as possible to that used by the team on the track, the brand recommends purchasing the subframe and dashboard cover developed in collaboration with Spider.
They also urge the use of a lateral steering damper, necessary for the correct installation of the front potentiometer. To facilitate this configuration, all the necessary supports for the installation of the components are provided according to the specifications of the Barni Spark Racing Team.
