kovelike the majority of leading Asian firms (Indian and Chinese) that we currently find in the two-wheeled sector, does not mess around when launching a new model on the market. The novel 650RR is a good example of this; a sports bike, without concessions and in the old style.
As if it were a return to the past, this striking supersport has been developed following the same pattern used by “old-fashioned” brands in past decades, just before these recently founded companies burst into this world with force. In addition, it has an important asset in its favor that its Japanese and European rivals will have to deal with: a tight final price.
Kove 650RR 2027: A fine tune-up
This new supersport recently launched by Kove in its home market cannot be better defined. This comes equipped with a 645 cc tetra-cylinder engineliquid cooled, with multi-valve cylinder head and internal dimensions of diameter per stroke of 67mm x 45.7mm. The maximum compression is 12.9:1. The brand approves a final power of 124 HP at 13,000 rpm and 69 Nm of maximum torque rotating around 11,000 revolutions. All this without forgetting that the 650RR is capable of catapulting to the 260km/h.
Other data that reflects the capabilities of the model, are for example an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/ in 3.4 seconds. Conversely, that is, to stop from that same speed, you only need 38.3 meters. And if we decide to catapult ourselves up to 200 km/h and have to do an emergency braking, we will travel 150 meters until we can completely stop the new Kove 650R.

At the level of dimensions the brand declares a distance between axles of 1,408mmwhile the maximum length, width and height extend to the 2,080mm x 705mm x 1,145mm respectively. With an empty weight of 188 kilosthe new Kove 650RR makes use of light materials, such as aluminum, to manufacture many of its components. We just have to take a look at the total figures that the brand associates with some of its main elements:
- Chassis: 11 kilos
- Subframe: 2.75 kilos
- Swingarm: 6 kilos
- Tires: 8.3 kilos
- Fuel tank: 2.8 kilos

The rest of the set follows the general line of the model, mainly the cycle part where the 650RR has everything necessary to become an effective and fun sports car in equal parts. For the suspensions, the brand uses fully adjustable equipment, with an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock. The braking system consists of a double front disc with four-piston radial calipers and a rear disc actuated by a single-piston caliper.
Kove 650RR 2027: Good, Pretty and Cheap
If the technical part of the Kove 650RR convinces both in terms of figures and general efficiency, the equipment and finishes only complete a succulent menu to the taste of the most demanding: six-axis IMU, tilt-sensitive traction control, anti-wheelie and ABS in curves are standard. Also the quick shift, cruise control, TPMS system and a full-color TFT screen as the instrument panel.
In addition, it has driver assistance systems that include blind spot monitoring and lane change assist. The final icing on the cake is the less than 34,000 yuan it costs in China, about 4,500 euros in exchange. As reported by a local media, its commercial launch included a limited edition of 777 units in a striking blue colormaintaining the official rate of the standard version.

Furthermore, they warn that, “At this price, the Kove is positioned as a more economical alternative to the already established Japanese four-cylinder supersport motorcycles”. And not only that, since “The company is also preparing the model to compete in the 2027 World Supersport Championship”. What at the moment there is no confirmation is when, nor at what price, the model will be offered in Europe.
