Pedro Acosta and Oscar Piastri have much more in common than a sponsor who brings them together to have some fun and generate content. They have talent, they are young and they are destined to achieve great things in their respective championships. It’s not that they are supposed to be talented, it’s that they have it.
And what they also have is a desire to have fun when they are away from the races. That seems to be clear to their sponsor, who after bringing them together to ride a kart two years ago, has now created a new challenge for both of them.
There are also four wheels involved, it is not a question of taking more risks than necessary in the middle of a season, but it is true that the scenario changes a lot. And Quad Lock has taken them to the south of France, between Nice and Monaco, to a motocross track but to face it with two side-by-sides.

And be careful, although many times a side-by-side is sold as a support vehicle for work in the field, there are beasts like the ones they give Acosta and Piastri for their challenge that are truly wild. In this case the Segway Super Villain has a turbo, 235 HP and everything necessary to go on fire.
Neither Piastri nor Acosta are willing to give up a single meter
The fact is that in this territory and from the beginning Pedro seems to be more confident against Piastri than when they faced the karts. In fact, the Murcian seems to make his intentions clear from the beginning when he is interested in knowing how easy it is to “fall forward” when jumping with these side-by-sides, which, without a doubt, is a clue as to how he intended to face the challenge.
Piastri is also confident because a car is still involved. A little verbal warm-up and it’s time to get down to work on a track that no one knows and in which there is no prior recognition: straight to the action. From there, new, different tests arrive, in which each one seeks to get the most out of their side-by-sides.
The result? Better to press play and enjoy two figures of the present and the future whom we already want to see in their next joint challenge.
