Like every year, the well-known Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este It brings together the most select vehicles on the planet and also reveals some surprises about the world of motors, including the two-wheeled sector. These include the official presentation of a concept by the host of the event: BMW Group.
In previous editions of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este we have witnessed the birth, among others, of the spectacular Concept RR or the R20, the naked with the largest boxer ever assembled. Also the BMW R18 Concept that would later give way to the series model.
Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2026: BMW Concept Bagger on display
In 2026 it seems that the brand will once again delight us with a prototype “designed to give it your all”, just as the company pointed out in one of its social networks where they published a render of the supposed model. If we let ourselves be guided by the silhouette of the only image published by BMW Motorrad, we would bet that this conceptual scoop It will have a marked bagger style.
In the publication itself, many followers of the German firm have even dared to predict what model it could be. Many of them agree that we could be facing a Bagger variant of the well-known K 1600. In fact, currently this range has the K 1600 B version, which BMW defines as a complete “casual luxury with bagger style”.
Perhaps we will witness the birth from scratch of a model of these characteristics, focused mainly on markets such as the United States. This is something that we cannot know at the moment. It won’t be until next Friday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. when the new concept of the German brand is revealed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2026.
For now we can only continue guessing. What is fairly clear is that, once again, the elitist event in collaboration with the luxury hotel Villa d’Este will be the beginning of a new story within BMW Motorrad.
Perhaps it will end up becoming a new model, as is likely to happen with the R20 in the coming months. Something that only the brand’s senior officials know with certainty, including its CEO Markus Flasch, who is very given to leaving us clues about the most imminent news of the company he leads.
