a naked like you would never have imagined

“Original Honda Spirit. New Dream.” This is the title chosen by the Japanese brand to preview the first images of its long-awaited Honda V3R equipped with E-Compressor. A preview that knows little about us, but that already predicts that, most likely, we are looking at a naked style frame.

In fact, international media such as Insella offer us their own version of what is to come in the form of a render, the same one that stars on the cover of this article. Although there are still many details to be revealed, there are small aspects that we can analyze after the publication of this corporate video of the golden wing firm.

Honda V3R equipped with E-Compressor: What we know

For now, it is now official that the long-awaited Honda V3R equipped with E-Compressor will be presented on Next day November 4th on the occasion of the start of the 2025 edition of the well-known EICMA. Beyond this fact, the three key images that can be viewed in the barely 15 seconds that the video published by Honda on its official YouTube channel lasts, it is crystal clear to us that We would be looking at a sporty naked model.

It is possible that the Honda V3R equipped with E-Compressor will mount some type of front fairing in the style of the new CB1000F SE, although there are those who are already betting that we are facing a concept similar to that used in the design of the CB1000R. In any case, making a comparison with the latter, but also with the platform used by Honda at EICMA 2024 to officially present its new V3 engine, we can confirm that the brand maintains the technical configuration of the single-sided swingarm, as well as a tubular type chassis.

Regarding the latter, a key piece of this Honda V3R equipped with E-Compressor, we are talking about a 75° four-stroke V3 engine equipped with an electric compressor to offer a significant increase in torque at low and medium revolutions, regardless of the engine rpm. With an approximate maximum torque of 150 Nm, it is expected that the final power will remain in any case above 100 hp.

In technical terms, the electric compressor allows a high degree of freedom of arrangement of all components in the limited space available on a motorcycle, and efficient centralization of mass. It also does not require an intercooler. This means that it does not depend on rotation like a compressor, nor does it depend on exhaust gases like a turbo, and can be operated to improve aspects such as power, mixture or emissions.

Although Honda has not officially commented on the issue, behind the development of this new V3 engine there are also other interests within the brand, which are not only related to commercial matters and its range of street motorcycles. We are talking about the new regulation that will be implemented in MotoGP for 2027. This is mainly that the displacement is reduced again to 850 cc to reduce performance and especially maximum speeds.

In any case, we will dispel all our doubts about the expected Honda V3R equipped with E-Compressor in just a few days. Specifically, next November 4, the moment chosen by the brand to delight us with its new frame and, most likely, inform us about the future uses of this innovative platform within its current range of models.
