Addax Rally 2024: A sea of dunes and sensations
With a little preparation of the bike and the adventurous spirit that defines Triumph, the rider from Jaén has achieved an impressive second position in the trail category, facing extreme terrain and adverse conditions. With a tour of 1,300 kmthe Addax Rally crosses the iconic Erg Chebbi dunes and a multitude of technical tracks in Morocco, offering a true navigation and endurance challenge.
Although this rally is aimed at professional drivers and vehicles specifically prepared for competitions like the Dakar, Jaime Lozano, far from dedicating himself full time to his role as a driver, has shown that a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro can be up to the task. of these challenges. An experience that the pilot summarizes as “the most intense I have ever experienced on a motorcycle. Without a doubt, I would invite anyone who has the desire and a Triumph to try this type of adventure, of course, knowing that you have to work for it.”
With the right bike and a good dose of determination, the pilot achieved an outstanding second position in the trail category, an impressive result considering that this category saw important abandonments, such as that of the pilot Albert Martín, podium in the Dakar 2024 in the Original category , and famous content creator Charly Sinewan. In addition, he was able to share the adventure with other pilots of the stature of Javi Vega, Mario Patrao and Sara García.
“I feel tremendously lucky to have been able to live this experience on the back of my Tiger and also talk face to face with tremendous pilots and excellent people who in a few weeks will be competing in the Dakar”says Jaime. However, their participation was not without obstacles, as the demanding conditions during the competition put the bike and the rider to the test. Thanks to the support of the technical team, he completed the rally successfully, reaffirming the reliability of the motorcycle in extreme situations.
