After passing through Sturgis, the S4 Honcho Trail begins marketing in the US.

A little over a year has passed since we had access to the first information about the S4 Honcho. Then, on the occasion of the celebration of the Harley-Davidson Homecoming 2025 festival, LiveWire showed the public two concepts in the form of a minibike, and equivalent to a standard 125 cc. One of them was precisely the one that has finally ended up becoming this plug-in MX with a clear playful focus.

Just a few months later we learned about the registration of the acronym Honcho by LiveWire. This information is important to highlight, since at first the model, in concept form, was presented to society under the name S3 Spur. Along with it, the S3 Dokithe same one that has finally ended up being called commercially as S4 Honcho Street.

The S4 Honcho Trail runs through Sturgis

Prior to the announcement of the start of marketing of the new S4 Honcho Trail, the brand dropped by, just a few days ago, at the famous Sturgis Rally. In addition, he took the opportunity to announce a new project in collaboration with Flat Out Friday, Mama Tried, V-Twin Visionary and Gas Monkey Garage. We are talking about the first edition of the category S4 Honcho Race Class at Flat Out Friday 2027.

The program will bring together builders, creators, pilots and owners around the platform in a unique, accessible and entertaining way. “The announcement also included plans for the creation of one-off custom S4 Honcho Trail motorcycles from Gas Monkey Garage and V-Twin Visionary, which will compete in the inaugural category.”they explain from the brand. And they conclude after passing through the event:

“You can argue about the specs, the removable batteries, the riding modes, the reverse function or the differences between the Street and Trail versions. But the story really begins when someone rides it. That’s what Sturgis showed us. The S4 Honcho arrived as a new addition to the LiveWire line. It became one of the most talked about bikes we took to the rally.”

Deliveries to US dealers begin.

Last June the brand officially began production of the LiveWire S4 Honcho; Just two months later, marketing began in its “home country.” After the announcement Jon Bekefycommercial director of LiveWire, commented: “The arrival of the first S4 Honcho Trail motorcycles in the United States is an exciting moment for LiveWire and our dealer network.”

He concluded: “The response to the Honcho has reinforced our initial belief: there is great interest in a motorcycle that makes riding accessible, versatile and, above all, fun for riders of all levels. Now we introduce the Honcho and deliver on that promise.” The brand states that more units of the S4 Honcho Trail will continue to arrive at US dealerships as inventory is replenished, and the S4 Honcho Street will do the same soon.

The most relevant thing about the model

As for the main features of the model, they remain unchanged compared to the last time we talked about them. Starting with a power and charging system commanded by a removable type battery pack, with a combined capacity of 3.48 kWh. The brand announces up to 117 kilometers of autonomy at a sustained speed of 32 km/h. Exceeding this threshold the range is reduced to 85 km.

The S4 Honcho Trail claims a top speed of 94km/hwith an acceleration from 0 to 48 km/h in 3 seconds. Likewise, to complete a recharge from 20% to 80% it is necessary to be plugged into the charger for at least 120 minutes. As for its main dimensions, the seat is located just 737 mm from the groundwhile the weight is 115 kilograms.

There are only variations in these last two parameters if we look at the specifications of the Street version, with 121 kg and 761 mm respectively. The launch of the new Honcho range will also be extended internationally this autumn, and the platform will reach selected European markets, including ours, with an official price starting from 5,399 euros.
