Rieju pleasantly surprises us again with the launch of its new NKX 125 2027. A mount that arrives “to take the urban spirit beyond the asphalt, with an off-road aesthetic unique in the segment and a personality made to go off-script”as explained by the brand itself. Developed on the same platform as its sister the NKD 125, it combines the benefits of its single-cylinder engine with a custom-made chassis for the occasion.
All this without forgetting top-level equipment where the Spanish firm has not skimped when it comes to implementing a top-level technical and technological package: ABS, TCS or a TFT color screen with Mirror Link are part of the standard equipment with which this NKX 125 comes from the Rieju factory.

As was already the case with its range sister the NKD 125 2026, with which it shares a platform and a good part of the general elements that give life to the set, there are not many details that Rieju has revealed regarding the mechanics. What we do know is that it has a 125 cc DOHC single-cylinder engine, water-cooled and powered by electronic injection.
The mechanics are directly associated with a six-speed gearbox. At the level of dimensions, the NKX 125 2027 declares a Bore × Stroke of 58 mm × 47 mm and a maximum compression ratio of 12.4:1. Of course, an engine of this type also includes electric start and electronic ignition, key elements for its Euro5+ approval.

In this section, the Rieju NKX 125 2027 uses a high-strength steel multi-tubular chassis and a double-arm swingarm as the main structure of the assembly. The suspensions are made up of a 41 m inverted fork and a progressive mono-shock shock absorber with adjustable preload.
As for braking, we have a 320 mm front disc and a double-piston Nissin caliper. At the rear it is a second disc, in this case 240 mm and a simple piston caliper that is responsible for this task.
