Few brands linked to the world of electric motorcycles have generated as much expectation in recent years as Stark Future. His name is inevitably associated with the Stark VARG and the revolution of zero-emission motocross. But this time the company has decided to look far away from the dirt circuits.
The result is “The Beast“, a spectacular land rover 2011 converted to electric and stark has presented as one of his most unique projects to date. Of course, it is worth clarifying from the beginning that this is not a technical development of the brand. The all-rounder has been created by the Swedish specialists from Vintage Volts along with Electric Classic Carswhile Stark Future He mainly assumes the role of promoter of the project and organizer of the auction.

He Defend completely abandons its old diesel engine to adopt an electric propulsion system, derived from tesla, capable of developing around 450 hp. The most striking thing is that it maintains the original transmission system and retains 4-wheel drive, thus respecting part of the mechanical essence of the classic British off-road vehicle.
Added to this is a 160 kWh battery, a huge capacity even compared to many current electric cars and clearly designed to combine autonomy and real use off the asphalt. As explained stark“The Beast” has not been conceived as a simple exhibition piece.
This Defend would have already completed a journey of approximately 6,000 km between Wales, Sweden and Barcelona using CCS public chargers, an experience that serves to demonstrate that the project works far from the controlled environment of a presentation.
Visually, the project opts for a strong aesthetic that is very consistent with its name. The entire set appears finished in black, accompanied by large off-road tires and a robust image that reinforces its character. The interior, for its part, has been renovated with brown leather upholstery to provide a more exclusive and artisanal feel.
