The new RSV4 X-GP derives directly from the RS-GP25 in its form, especially from the rear design, capable of faithfully replicating the air flow. The most prominent novelty of the entire aerodynamic package, derived from MotoGP, is the leg fins, a technology developed and patented exclusively by Aprilia Racing, as well as the rear fins, both introduced just a few months ago in the RS-GP25.
The combination of the leg and rear fins adds aerodynamic load in the braking and passing phases, as well as the front wing, obviously, with its unique shape, the lower spoiler and the fins pass by curve. To this evolution focused on aerodynamics is added a unique element, specifically from the competition prototypes: the structural carbon seat support, manufactured by compositi bread, with integrated structural, aerodynamic and design characteristics.
Another design improvement of this new feature is carbon processing in “sandwich structure”, a particular way of placing carbon fiber to achieve extreme lightness, while maintaining the desired rigidity. All this makes the dynamics of the rear of the vehicle even more similar to that of the competition prototype, increasing the perception of grip and guaranteeing a more direct connection between the performance of the rear tire and the pilot’s sensations.

All fairings are made of carbon by PAN Compositi, using the same procedures that are followed on motorcycle motorcycles to maintain maximum fidelity to the prototype Aprilia Racing. Compared to the RSV4, the new version allows five times more vertical air pressure in line, which increases stability and driving precision, while reducing the front elevation and triples the load with the inclined motorcycle, all with important advantages for curve grip.
Another novelty that makes the RSV4 X-GP unique is its special design reminiscent of the RS-GP25, a tribute to a winning motorcycle that currently represents the latest advances of the APRILIA Racing MotoGP project. On the other hand, the double crib aluminum chassis is reinforced by an Öhlins mechanical control suspension with specific configuration, where the refined presurized fork stands out.
The Brembo brake system includes a 19 × 16 front brake pump combined with GP4 MS and Z04 pills that hold DP 330 brake discs “T Drive” of 5.5 ″.
