For all those looking for a reference jet helmet, the Japanese firm offers in its catalog the ARAI SZ-R EVOa helmet that aims to take JET users to the next level. Applying its 40 years of experience in competition, Arai has reflected in this SZ-R Evo all the advances and technologies derived directly from others of its models used in MotoGP, such as the RX7V Evo, to make the SZ-R EVO a leading helmet in comfort, safety and avant-garde.
This fact makes it the ideal high -end helmet option. With homologation ECE R22-06the SZ-R EVO guarantees ventilation through the same diffuser technology that its racing brother, the RX-7V Evo uses, also including the stabilizer aerial and the Pinlock viewfinder. The combination of protection, lightweight, comfort and total open visibility make this SZ a unique and very special proposal.
ARAI SZ-R EVO 2026: almost 40 years of history
The first version of the SZ-R was presented in 1988 at the Colonia Motor Show, and, since then, after 37 years of constant development, Arai has always offered the best available technology to make the SZ-R a reference helmet between the jets. If we have enhanced the aspects related to the sportsmanship and technology of the helmet, we could not ignore security.
Arai is a brand recognized for its detail and care for user protection, and has continued with its philosophy of producing round, smooth and strong exterior calo. In addition, the design of the variable axis system (vas) effectively reduces the viewer’s turn point using a dual axis. This allows the shell to being smooth around the critical area of the temple. The PB-CLC2 exterior shell is manufactured in a special Z compound of various resins and is balanced by a light interior lining that reduces the center of gravity.
With regard to comfort, the comfort of the SZ-R Evo is absolute both in long distances and for use daily by the city thanks to the interior contact points that evenly hold the pilot’s head. Hypoallergenic interior protections are also totally adjustable and have been designed to wear glasses and headphones.
Likewise, for the new season, Arai has heard the requests of the most urban users and added one of its most applauded graphics to its Jet helmet. This is the Shagun graphreplica of one of the most emblematic designs of Dani Pedrosathat collects the most mythical iconography of the Catalan pilot: number 26, the samurai and, of course, engraved in Japanese.
A daring and even aggressive graph, for users who want to stand out on each journey. This graph is added to the previous decorations that the brand already had available for this model, up to a total of eleven that cover smooth prints (Frost Black, Frost White, Modern Gray, Frost Gun Metallic, Diamond Black, Diamond White Matt Blue and Matt Green) to graphics with drawings White, in addition to the aforementioned Shogun).
All models of the renovated SZ-R EVO 2026 are already available on the BIHR website, in sizes that go from the XS to the XL, at a price of 749.95 euros for smooth versions and 849.95 euros for prints.
