It has been a little over a year since the rumor began to run that Kawasaki could be working on a new invoice Z11000. While at first, it was not clear that Akashi’s maxinked ended up becoming a variant “one hundred”, with the passing of the months everything has been aligning with this initial idea. Even more when we have later been direct witnesses of the official launch of the new Versys and Ninja SX, in their respective versions 1100.
Kawasaki Z1100 2026: What we can expect
Now, thanks to a series of images published by Visor Down, all related to the Z110 2026 and the new design presented by Kawasaki before the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union, we can get a real idea of what we can expect from the expected Japanese maxinake model. And to tell the truth, looking at it in detail, we can already tell you that its design is quite resembled that of the previous Z1000, marketed in our continent until the 2016 season.
Although the Z1100 2026 includes some distinctive elements, its general lines maintain a good part of the forms that its predecessor looked, although evidently includes several changes and novelties with which to face this new commercial stage solvent. Starting with the lower side fairings shown in the images.
These look gills as aerators aimed at keeping the lower part of the motorcycle at a good temperature. We also find an integrated digital screen in the command post, very similar to the one its younger sister, the Z900. If this data is confirmed we would talk about a 5 ”TFT TFT control picture from which you can control all the technological systems with which the new brand model will presumably tell.
Other key aspects of this Z1100 2026 and its general design would be rigged to the arrival of a small front dome, as well as the addition of a LED intermittency equipment or a new bill of new bill, very similar to that equipped with their sisters in 1100 versions. Finally, it is worth highlighting the conical shapes of the exhaust silencer, leaving behind the double lateral output that mounted at the time the Z1000.
The rest of the set seems shared with the 1100sx ninja and the Versys 1100. Both mechanics and chassis should be equal to those of the latter. We do not know even if Kawasaki will apply some changes in the motorcycle electronics with which to offer higher borrowing figures. If not, its four -cylinder engine, liquid cooling and 16 valves, of 1,099 cc, should be approximately about about 136 CV of power and 113 nm of maximum torque.
In any case, it will be time to wait for the brand itself to officially publish the technical specifications of the model for the coming weeks, probably coinciding with the EICMA 2025 celebration.
