The alliance between two indisputable symbols of the Italian industry, Ducati and Lamborghini, has always been a culture land for the creation of unique projects capable of accelerating the pulse of fans and motorcycles of motorcycles around the world, thanks to the competition DNA that both manufacturers share.
With a story full of successes, this collaboration is now embarked on a new and exciting chapter that will be announced during the Milan Design Week on April 9. The previous collaborations between Ducati and Lamborghini have shown how the search for shared values, such as the authenticity of the “Made in Italy”the vocation for sports brilliance and pioneering design can lead to really original projects.
Ducati and Lamborghini return for the 3rd time with their special editing models
The first example was the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by the Lamborghini sián FKP 37, presented on November 25, 2020 in a limited edition of 630 models. This was a motorcycle that reinterpreted the stylistic identity signs of one of the most iconic cars of the brand. Developed on the basis of the Ducati Diavel 1260 s, this version was transformed in terms of its most distinctive elements.
The predilection for fine and light materials, a characteristic feature of the supercaries manufactured in Sant’agata Bolognese and shared by Ducati, translated into a wide use of carbon fiber in numerous components of the motorcycle to further elevate their benefits.
The design of the diavel 1260 Lamborghini is born from the creative synergy between the Ducati Centro Stile and the Lamborghini Centro Stile, combining the stylistic authenticity of both brands.
The success of this first project sat some solid bases for a second chapter as exciting: the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the power without concessions and the extreme engineering of Hurricane Sto. Presented at the San Marino Grand Prix and Riviera de Rimini in September 2022, this model further reinforced the link between the two brands, transmitting the style and benefits of an authentic Lamborghini supercar to a motorcycle.
This limited and numbered edition was also a remarkable success, with 630 units and 63 additional exclusive units dedicated to Lamborghini customers, in a clear recognition of the authenticity and originality of the project. Now, emotion grows around the third chapter of this incredible collaboration.
