On some occasion you will have heard the name of the Spanish brand Cecotecspecialized in the marketing of household appliances of all types. Now the Valencian firm, based in Torrent, is diving headlong into the complicated world of two wheels. It also does so with a wide and striking range of plug-in scooters, compatible with the current A1 and the moped license.
To do this, it uses the same system as many other current marketers. That is, manufacturing in China and sale in Spain after adaptation to the tangled national bureaucracy. In short, a new adventure that, at first glance, seems interesting given the number of models it offers and the image that each and every one of them conveys.
Cecotec range in detail
As we say, the range that Cecotec puts on the market represents an important novelty within the national EV segment. Although we already have other brands such as Nerva or Velca, for example, none of them has a portfolio as extensive as the one that the Spanish firm offers us from the first stages of its commercial journey.
Without a doubt, the model that stands out the most in this Cecotec range is the Vulcano, an ADV cut scooter, equivalent to a standard 125, which combines a striking image with interesting dynamic and performance performance. The brand equips a 6,000 watt motor and declares a maximum power of 17,000 W, with up to 151 km of autonomy. For this purpose, it uses a high-capacity lithium battery (72 V 100 Ah).
With a top speed of 120km/h The new Vulcan defends himself both inside and outside the city. The power is dosed through three driving modes, with three power settings (Eco, Normal and Sport) and everything is controlled from a complete TFT display. CBS-assisted braking, inverted fork and double rear gas shock absorber, LED lighting, USB socket or a front screen with adjustable position are among the standard equipment offered within its initial price of 4,999 euros.
The rest of the range of scooters that accompany this Cecotec Vulcano is completed with the models Halo (from 4,299 euros) and Shark RS (from 2,999 euros). In the mopeds section we find up to four different options to choose from:
- Cecotec Shark, from 2,199 euros
- Cecotec Makalu Pro, from 1,299 euros
- Cecotec Piazza, from 1,599 euros
- Cecotec Skull, from 999 euros.
With motors ranging from 800 to 3,000 W, they have a range of autonomy that can reach up to 90 kilometers, thanks to the option of including removable batteries.
In addition, its chassis also uses elements of proven efficiency for urban use, such as a front brake disc or hydraulic suspension on both axles. For more information and details you can consult the official Cecotec website.
