CFMoto has revealed his new 125NK 2025which will also be available in Europe. A teaser video has recently been available that anticipates the final production version that will be officially presented at EICMA. Thank God, there is nothing left.
Let us remember that this motorcycle debuted as a concept at EICMA 2023, with details such as a single-arm rear swingarm and carbon and titanium materials. Although the production version will have a double-arm swingarm, probably made of steel, and will possibly be positioned as a cheaper alternative to the 125 duke of KTMpartner of the Chinese brand.
This is the new CFMoto 125 NK
The new model of CFMotoapparently street fighter style, will be powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke engine, water-cooled, with fuel injection and a power of 15 HPideal for the A1 license. The chassis has not yet been revealed. But from what we know, it will feature a steel trellis frame with side panels and an inverted fork at the front.
As we mentioned before, the conceptual version of the 125NK It included an aluminum single-sided swingarm, which would differentiate it from models like the KTM 125 Duke, Yamaha MT-125 either Honda CB125R. The 2023 concept also showed carbon details and a front brake with elements in this same material and air intakes, similar to the competition ones, as well as a short titanium exhaust. SC Project. Logically, it is unlikely that all of these elements will make it to the final version. At least as standard.
The aesthetics and technology of 125NK Conceptwith LED headlights and a color screen, is reminiscent of its older sister from the series N.K.the 800 NK. It is expected that the 125NK incorporate advanced electronic features, such as ABS on both wheels, possibly tilt sensitive, and smartphone connectivity.
The already known 450 NK of CFMotowith 48 HP, also has these features, and meets the limit of the A2 license in our country. Regarding the price, the 125NK will probably remain below 5,000 euros, contrasting with the 125 duke of KTMwhose price in 2024 will be around 5,500 euros.
This scenario suggests a tough fight in the 125 cc naked segment between CFMoto and KTM. However, despite the association between both brands, the bets of both firms do not share components or manufacturing, since the KTM 125 Duke is produced by Bajaj in India.
Besides, CFMoto has established a recent collaboration with yamahawhich raises the possibility of some similarities with the Yamaha MT-125. We will know more soon and, of course, we will keep you informed.
