Last summer we already told you that CFMoto was preparing a sports version of its well-known minibike, which now materializes with this new Papio XO-1 Racer. We are talking about a completely faired variant that emulates the imprint of those eighties superbikes that were all the rage at the time. Its double round front optics, a compact silhouette and the evocative rear tail are part of its hallmarks.
CFMoto Papio XO-1 Racer in detail
There is no doubt that CFMoto has the 125 cc minibike thing in hand. The Papio Now it feels more compact and muscular, in addition to managing to evoke a very successful racing aesthetic through three liveries that fit like a glove.
On the technical side, the new XO-1 Racer remains unchanged, being powered by a 126 cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled single-cylinder engine. CFMoto announces a final power of 9.4 HP at 8,250 rpm, with a maximum torque of 9.2 Nm at 6,750 revolutions, being able to roll at speeds close to 100 km/h. The block is directly associated with a six-speed manual transmission.
If we focus on its cycle part, we can see how simplicity and efficiency go hand in hand. Starting with its tubular steel frame, supported on an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock. It also has a disc brake system on both axles; 210 mm at the front and 190 mm at the rear, clamped in both cases by double-piston calipers. The set is assisted by a new TCS system that joins the functions performed by the dual-channel ABS.

Available in three different color schemes, Desert Khaki, Champion Blue and Nebula White, in some countries where it is sold, such as Malaysia, it has a base price of about 1,900 euros to change. A shame that the brand does not offer this Papio XO-1 Racer among its current offering for our country.
