Charged launches the Ndara: a 125 km/h sports electric car for 3,339 euros

Charged Indonesia has officially presented the Charged Ndaraits new flagship in the form of an electric sports motorcycle. According to the brand, this is a frame “designed for pilots looking for performance and style.” In the words of Joel C.Y. ChangCEO of Charged Asia Group, upon its launch:

“The Ndara is more than an electric motorcycle – it represents Charged Indonesia’s commitment to engineering products that improve people’s lives while providing an exciting riding experience. We are proud to introduce an electric motorcycle that offers exceptional performance, advanced technology and uncompromising sustainability.”

Charged Ndara begins its commercial journey “at a gallop”

The name chosen by the company is not a coincidence and is directly related to Indonesian culture. This follows Charged’s tradition of commercially naming its products in honor of the country’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Likewise, the design of the Ndara itself “is inspired by the strength and elegance of a galloping horse, combining an organic aesthetic with advanced engineering”they conclude.

The final result, a priori, seems to have worked just as they had planned. Its accomplished aesthetics, as well as a high-level technical part, place it as a new benchmark within the segment where it is included. Going back to Charged’s statements, the Ndara is “a motorcycle that imposes presence on the road, with forceful acceleration and unwavering stability.”

To get here the brand has spent time and money. In addition, it has not skimped when it comes to testing the model in the most rigorous way possible. In this context, before its launch, the Charged Ndara demonstrated its efficiency in the “Touring Nusantara”, a trip of 1,200 kilometers from Cilegon to Bali completed in five days. This resistance test in real conditions validated the performance of the model, but also served the brand to verify other relevant aspects.

For example, its average autonomy, as well as the success (or not) of the general ergonomics once placed at the controls. To do this, the Ndara drove through different conditions and terrain offered by the paradisiacal Indonesian roads, which gave Charged a clear optimistic vision about the final development of the model before being officially launched.

Cutting-edge technology for everyday life

According to the brand, the Charged Ndara is equipped with a set of advanced technologies normally reserved for higher-end motorcycles. Among them we can highlight:

  • Power assistant for overtaking– Provides a temporary boost of additional power when overtaking, providing safe and responsive acceleration in any driving situation.
  • Variable energy regeneration– An active regenerative braking system that recovers and returns energy to the battery when slowing or braking, improving efficiency and extending range up to 100 km (dual battery configuration).
  • SmartSync display– An intelligent instrument panel connected to the Charged digital ecosystem, providing real-time driving information at a glance.
  • ABS and traction control system (TCS)– Multi-layer active safety systems that provide maximum control in all road conditions.
  • Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Assist– Intelligent hill start technology that ensures complete stability both when stopping and navigating inclined terrain.
  • Latest generation lithium-ion battery (4 kWh / 12 kg per battery)– Lightweight, high-performance batteries that charge from 5 to 80% in just 40 minutes.

Additionally, the Ndara comes standard equipped with a Type 2 EV charging connectorthe same universal charging standard used by high-end electric cars around the world. At a performance level, the brand’s new electric mount offers a maximum power of 11,000 watts and a maximum speed 125km/h. His average autonomy is estimated at 100 kmas long as we use the optional dual battery configuration offered by the Asian firm.

Your battery has a 4 kWh capacity and requires just 40 minutes to recharge from 5% to 80%. With a declared weight of 110 kilograms and total dimensions of 1,986 mm x 800 mm x 1,024 mm (length, width and height), it becomes a compact and lightweight model suitable for almost any type of pilot. Its driving is aided by a well-resolved cycle section which highlights a configuration commanded by a tubular steel structure and a single-sided rear swingarm that shows off a truly striking look.

The 17″ alloy wheels, with a very elaborate design, are shod with 110/70-17 | 130/70-17 tires. A pair of brake discs are anchored to them, one per axle, assisted in turn by a combined CBS + ABS system. Available in three color options, Emerald Green, Graphite Silver, Midnight Black, it is now available at the brand’s authorized local distributors with the possibility of purchasing it with one or two batteries:
