The motorcycle world in general is experiencing truly historic moments of change and the LUV 1 of the European brand ANY Mobility It is a good example to contextualize the issue. Recently presented on the occasion of the Milan Design Week It is presented as an urban all-terrain vehicle capable of offering mobility solutions where other manufacturers cannot reach.
ANY LUV 1 in detail
That’s at least what its creators sell us. In fact LUV is the acronym for Life Utility Vehicles. Or what is the same, a utility vehicle for daily life that makes our daily trips easier and even serves as a mere carrying tool; Whether in the private or commercial sphere, ANY Mobility has created a concept “designed for real life.”
Behind this business adventure we find Peter Van de Velde and Erik de Winterfounders of the brand. Several professionals from the sector from such leading brands as Pininfarina, Ferrari, Aprilia and Vespa have worked on the design, highlighting the presence of Lowie Vermeersch, director of the Turin firm Granstudio.
In technical terms, the LUV 1 announces a maximum power of 11KWbeing possible to drive it with the current A1 license. The brand promises an average autonomy between 110 and 140 kilometers managing to reach a top speed of 100km/h. The set has an electric motor integrated into its rear wheel. This comes combined with two interchangeable lithium-ion batteries (6.5 kWh) that we can recharge in less than 4 hours using a 220 V outlet.
The most striking thing about the LUV 1 is undoubtedly its integrated charging capacity of up to 120 liters. This is the result of having, among others, a modular die-cast aluminum chassis. It also equips front and rear top case, side anchors for bags or different gad-gets technological tools with which to improve the user experience: a USB charger and the possibility of using our smartphone as the main instrument panel, are among them.
Other relevant aspects of this ANY LUV 1 would be, for example, a weight content of 160 kilograms and a seat height of 786mm. The idea is not only to make driving easier for small drivers. Also offer an efficient ergonomic triangle that allows us, for example, to maneuver safely at low speed.
