One more and they’re done?… We’ve lost count. What is very clear is the uniqueness of design and technical architecture that announces this imposing Equus 600 V4 Café Racer by QJMotor. A neoclassical model that is revolutionizing the segment thanks to a truly attractive image that pairs perfectly with its V4 engine with almost 70 HP of power.
QJMotor Equus 600 V4 Café Racer: What we know
According to the always reliable Wikipedia, “Equus is a genus of perissodactyl mammals in the family Equidae. It is the only surviving genus of a once very prosperous and diverse family.” The term is also identified with the word horse if we translate it into our language.
We don’t know if the Equus 600 V4 Café Racer will neigh, what is clear to us is that it exhibits a truly striking aesthetic. This is mainly, in addition to its own cafe racer philosophy with a neoclassical appearance, because of the incredible shapes and finishes that the design of its aluminum chassis offers us.
Added to this is also the striking swing arm, the radial type wheels or the color palette with which the brand finishes the visual appearance of the model.
Beyond the stylistic level, this Equus 600 V4 Café Racer enjoys the mechanics released by its range sister, the SRV 600 V. We are referring to the 90º DOHC V4 engine, liquid cooling, double overhead camshafts and 16 valves in the cylinder head. In short, the brand approves a power of 69.3 HP at 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 53 Nm at 8,500 revolutionswith a maximum speed of the order of 180km/h.
These figures should be very in line with those finally approved by the Equus 600 V4 Café Racer, with a curb weight not much more than 200 kilograms. The fact is that this presentation was something we had been waiting for a few months. In fact, at the beginning of this year we already told you about the possibility of the arrival of this type of models to the current QJMotor range, equipped with V-shaped mechanics.
Although it is expected that the brand will aim directly at the custom segment, there is no doubt that, with this technology, it will expand its range of action to other segments and categories where an engine of this type adapts efficiently. And to show a button; In addition, the imminent Equus 600 V4 Café Racer comes sealed with the distinctive touch of the Italian design studio C-Creative, founded by Giovanni Castiglioni.
What more could you ask for? Well, now we have an adjusted rate and an A2 version of the model. Regarding the first thing, seeing the price at which the aforementioned SRV 600 V is already sold, it is likely that this Equus 600 V4 Café Racer will end up in the brand’s dealerships for just under 10,000 euros.
As for the second, if it finally reaches the European market, it will almost certainly have a specific variant according to the requirements of the A2 license. All of this would be to be confirmed by the brand itself, although in just a few days it is very likely that we will clear up doubts, coinciding with the starting signal for EICMA 2025.
