The races in the sand of the beach have almost as long as motorcycles, but the enduropale du touquet-pala-de-calais is currently the most special of all. He was born 50 years ago in Le Touquet, in the heart of La Mancha and very close to Pas de Calais, a name that was subsequently added to the event.
Today, more than 100,000 people meet along the route to see the more than 1,300 participants, which are divided into two waves and in which we can see a wide variety of levels, ranging from the most amateur to the Professional pilots.
A challenge of more than three hours that, in the 2025 edition, has returned to take Todd Kellet to the controls of its Yamaha, after completing 14 laps to the route with a quick lap of 11: 06,462, which implied that only 10 First classified were able to end in the same lap.
The British arrived with his second champion title of the FIM World Cup in Sand under his arm. A specialty as spectacular as complex as you can see when reviewing the classifications, and that is more than 1,000 of the 1,300 participants, they could not complete 10 laps to the layout.
And it is that the first round can be relatively simple for the first to arrive, since the beach is still in good condition. But the serious problems begin when the second round arrives when after the 1,300 motorcycles have passed the furrows, the sand and even pilots lagging behind falls or breakdowns begin to appear on the road.

From that moment we could say that hell is unleashed on the beaches of the area, the forces falter and make mistakes begins to be easier in a terrain in which only the best are able to excel.
And among the best we have figures such as Kellet, Potisek, Van Berkell, the Myot Brothers, Genot, Mertens … a series of surnames to which the profane are not accustomed, but which are the authentic kings of the races on sand so popular in so popular sand in France and in the United Kingdom.
Another aspect that are striking is that in the enduropale du touquet-pap-de-calais you have to reproduce. The race is long and there are tremendously fast areas in which motorcycles consume so much that you have to do it several times.
As we said, finally Todd Kellet took the victory ahead of Milko Potisek with Lars Van Berkel completing the general’s podium. In the vintage category it was the Dakarian Adrien Van Beverern who took the victory with Nicolas Dercourt Segundo and Arnaud Demester in third position. Meanwhile, in Junior, Damien Knuiman took the victory with Paolo Masccho Segundo and the Spanish Francisco García Third.
