Last weekend, MotorLand Aragón experienced its grand opening day to the public at the MotorLand Classic Festival 2026. The facilities of the Aragonese complex have hosted a festive and relaxed atmosphere for all audiences, bringing together all those lovers of classic friends who have been able to walk among authentic vintage motor jewels and participate in a wide range of activities.
MotorLand Classic Festival 2026: event chronicle
The activity on the speed circuit began at 09:00 a.m. with the Formula Vintage rounds and the fourth edition of the introductory sports photography course, taught by the official photographers of MotorLand Aragón. Those attending the workshop had the opportunity to step on the track roads to learn how to capture vehicles in motion, on this occasion classic cars and motorcycles, sidecars and formulas.
Throughout the day, around 600 participants took to the asphalt in different modalities. After the first round session in the morning, one of its great attractions arrived, at 12:30 the departure of more than 50 Citroën AX cars from all over Spain to the track, a true luxury for the festival. In the afternoon, a colorful grid was formed with the famous MotorLand Classic Parade:
Cars, motorcycles, sidecars, formulas and all types of classic vehicles traveled the Aragonese route like every year. The public that did not participate from inside was able to witness the show from the different terraces of the circuit and from the Pit Lane itself. In addition to the track, both the paddock and the VIP rooms maintained a large influx of people throughout Saturday.
Art and arcade area: The artistic exhibition with live painting under the proposal “Speed Traces” and the recreational space with retro machines and giant Scalextric were a constant meeting point for the youngest. Talks with champions organized by the Guadalope Circuit hosted talks with more than 100 attendees about the history of the Citroën AX GT, GTI and its Circuit Cup.
The event was attended by its historical champions such as Pablo Irizíar (1990), José Luis Muniesa (1993) and Martín Egaña (1995). On the other hand, the most daring were able to experience the excitement on the track by completing the day by participating in the VIP laps aboard the Caterham and in the sidecar baptisms.
Finally, we cannot forget the gastronomic proposal and the social atmosphere that featured throughout the day on Saturday. At noon, the paddock beach bar became the meeting point with the musical vermouth by Los Mercenarios Versiones and ended in the Pit Lane with a performance by DJ Roberto in the afternoon remember.
Next event at MotorLand Aragón: Spanish Rallycross Championship (CERX)
With the complete program of experiences for the public completed, the MotorLand Classic Festival 2026 closed its XVI Edition last Sunday with the unique prominence of the lap sessions for classics on the track. MotorLand Aragón will continue with its sporting activity in the coming years November 7 and 8 with the celebration of the Spanish Rallycross Championship (CERX) on the complex’s off-road circuit.
