Cyclone accelerates in Spain: it already exceeds 2,000 registered motorcycles

continues to gain ground within the Spanish market and has just reached an especially significant figure for a firm that is still in the implementation phase. This week the brand has surpassed 2,000 motorcycles registered in Spain since its marketing officially began in our country.

The data confirms the good initial reception of a range that has sought to gain a foothold in a market as competitive as the Spanish one, relying on models with different approaches, an attractive relationship between equipment and price and an offer especially oriented towards segments with the highest volume of users.

The pace of registrations has accelerated significantly in recent months. Of the 2,000 accumulated units, 1,000 have been registered throughout 2026, the first full calendar year of Cyclone activity in Spain.

The figure is, according to the company, within the forecasts established for this first stage of growth. The brand’s objective now is to close the 2026 financial year with around 2,000 new registrations during the year, which would mean doubling the volume achieved so far since January.

If the current evolution continues, Cyclone would face the second half of the year with a considerably more solid commercial base, and with a growing presence within one of the most important motorcycle markets in Europe.

The Cyclone RX2, key to growth

Cyclone RX2 125 2026

Much of this commercial drive has as its protagonist the Cyclone RX2, the firm’s new 125 cubic centimeter adventure motorcycle. It is a model with an aesthetic clearly inspired by rally machines, with an approach designed to combine daily use with a more adventurous image.

The arrival of the RX2 has allowed Cyclone to reinforce its presence in the 125 cc motorcycle segment, a category that is especially relevant in Spain due to the possibility of driving this type of model with the A1 license or with the B car license, as long as the corresponding legal requirements are met.

Since its launch, the small trail has registered notable commercial acceptance. According to the data provided by the brand, at the end of June the Cyclone RX2 was the third best-selling 125 cc motorcycle in Spain.

The commercial performance of the model would also have contributed to Cyclone reaching fourth position among the brands with the highest volume of registrations within the Spanish 125 cc motorcycle segment.

These results place the RX2 as a fundamental piece within the manufacturer’s current strategy. Not only has it become one of its most visible models, but it has also served as a gateway to Cyclone for numerous users looking for an accessible, versatile motorcycle with a different aesthetic than the most common naked or urban scooters.

Its proposal also takes advantage of the growing interest in trail and adventure motorcycles, a trend that has extended to practically all displacements for years. In this case, Cyclone transfers that image of a great traveler to the 125 cc segment, where design, ease of use and contained costs have a particularly important weight in the purchasing decision.

A second generation of models on the way

Cyclone RX625: the brand “dakarizes” its current medium-displacement ADV

The Cyclone RX2 does not just represent a new release within the brand’s catalog. It is also the first model of the so-called second generation of Cyclone motorcycles, a new stage that will bring with it a profound renewal of the range available in Spain.

The company already anticipates the arrival of new motorcycles between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027. These future models will belong to different displacements and segments, which will expand the range of users that Cyclone addresses and reduce its dependence on a single category.

Although at the moment the specific characteristics of these developments have not been detailed, the strategy declared by the firm is to reinforce its positioning and consolidate itself as one of the fastest growing brands within the Spanish two-wheeled sector.

The challenge will be to maintain the momentum generated by the RX2 and transfer it to motorcycles with larger displacement or with different approaches. The expansion of the catalog will be especially relevant for those customers who enter the brand through a 125 cc and who, over time, seek to make the leap towards higher performance models.

Cyclone wants to continue counting by thousands

For the Multimoto Group, responsible for Cyclone’s activity in Spain, the 2,000 registrations achieved represent confirmation that the implementation of the brand is progressing according to the planned roadmap.

Saul OrvizCountry Manager of the Multimoto Group, values the growth achieved:

“We are not surprised to start counting Cyclone registrations in thousands and not hundreds. We have always defended that the landing of Cyclone in Europe would live up to what the brand represents: the largest Chinese motorcycle manufacturer. These results show that we are complying with the planned roadmap and that the Spanish market is responding very positively.”

With the first major registration milestone already passed, Cyclone now faces the decisive part of 2026. The objective will be to maintain the pace over the coming months, close the year within the established forecasts and prepare the ground for the arrival of a renewed range.

The 2,000 accumulated units still represent the beginning of the brand’s trajectory in Spain, but they serve to confirm that Cyclone has managed to capture the public’s attention in a relatively short period. The commercial response of the RX2 and the future developments planned for the end of 2026 and beginning of 2027 will be decisive to see how far this growth can go.
