Diogo Moreira, winner of the TTT 2025 making history
Since its creation in 2020, the Triumph Triple Trophy recognizes not only victories, but also the most outstanding performances, perseverance and resilience of Moto2 riders. Every weekend a jury preselects three riders and the fans decide the final result by voting through the official MotoGP profile on Instagram, a system that reinforces the connection between the public and the very high competitive level of the intermediate category.
The Triumph Triple Trophy scoring system awards 7, 6 and 5 points to the riders with the most votes in each round, a direct reference to the 765 cc three-cylinder engine that has powered the Moto2 category since 2019. In this edition the new format has been consolidated, in which the fans have actively participated each race weekend and, in addition, have had the opportunity to enter the draw for a Street Triple 765 RS replica Triumph Triple Trophy identical to that of the winning driver, thus reinforcing the link between the public and the competition.
For Diogo Moreira, this recognition puts the finishing touch to his farewell to the category powered by Triumph before moving up to the premier class, MotoGP, in 2026. An exceptional season in which he has combined results, consistency and a special connection with the fans. The Brazilian rider received his exclusive customized Triumph Street Triple 765 RS at Triumph’s Hinckley headquarters at the final Valencia round, thanking the constant support of fans who have driven his nominations throughout the year.
Moreira acknowledged: “I have to get my license and then I will try to go out for some laps with it, enjoy the bike a little, and then keep it at home as a souvenir.” From the British firm, Moreira’s triumph is interpreted as the natural result of a great season. As Steve Sargent recalled, “We also congratulate the winner of the Street Triple 765 RS among all those who voted in the Triumph Triple Trophy”a dynamic that has had a great reception throughout the year.
