It is not a secret that BMW Motorrad is in full development of its new access range. The presentation of the Concept F 450 GS offered us a small preview of what was yet to come throughout this 2025. Now, the Bavarian firm has gone to action, as demonstrated by the first images of a model test mule, circulating along the roads of the Indian state of Karnataka.
The BMW F 450 gs of tests looks few changes regarding the initial concept
The first impression offered by this camouflaged version of the expected F 450 GS is that it does not differ too much from the initial concept. However, for the test the project managers chose to circulate at full load, as we can see in the images published by the local medium Rush Lane. They show how the next GS of half displacement equips a complete team of suitcases, Top Case and side saddlebons, and there are also two occupants who travel aboard this test unit.
As shown in the initial concept, the F 450 GS continues to use a front inverted fork, with golden bottles, high -style sticker duck or a lower crankcase of good dimensions.
However, we can appreciate how the provisional exhaust system is now mounted in the lowest position, we assume that in order to assemble the aforementioned lateral saddlebags, while the tires become alloy, unlike those of radial type exhibited in the first instance.
This last aspect could be related to the possibility that BMW Motorrad will offer to its clients to choose between various types of tire and measure. It is also the option that the next F 450 GS ends up being offered in different versions, and these in turn have a varied offer of finishes. As a curious fact, the test mule covered Eurogrip Duratrail EB+.
On the other hand, and taking into account the place chosen by BMW to test its new generation F 450 GS, it is definitely confirmed that the company in charge of manufacturing the model will be TVS. Once launched to the local market, it is expected to have a departure price of about 500,000 rupees, 5,520 euros to change, or what is the same, a 50% increase with respect to the official price of G 310 GS.
It will not be at least until the next EICMA 2025 when the German brand releases the definitive version of the F 450 GS. Until then we assume that new details of the model will continue to be offered, either in the form of a test mule or through documentation related to their approval and registration. In any case we will be attentive to new updates of the topic.
