The Italian Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Ursohas authorized Invitalia to sign a Development Agreement proposed by Ducati to activate the industrial investment program “Ducati Raise the Bar” valued at 121 million euros.
This initiative aims to strengthen the company’s global competitiveness in the long term, confirming Ducati’s role as a major player in the international motorcycle industry, while contributing to the creation of value for the local area, the Italian Motor Valley and the entire Italian industrial supply chain.
“Ducati Raise the Bar” has state support
The industrial program, called “Ducati Raise the Bar”, includes a significant technological and industrial investment plan by the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer, with special emphasis on the development of specialized knowledge.
This initiative will have the support of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy of Italy through non-refundable grants for an amount of 33.5 million eurosintended for research and development activities.
A project with an eye on the future
The project focuses on industrial research and experimental development activities worth more than 99 million eurosaimed at expanding the range of products through the introduction of innovative and sustainable technologies, as well as promoting the evolution of production processes.
This measure recognizes the strategic value of the project for the Emilia-Romagna region, the heart of the Italian Motor Valley, and its contribution to the development of advanced technological knowledge, innovation in the motorcycle sector and the growth of specialized skills in Italy.
