It was in the 2017 season when the guys from Revival Cycles unveiled their Ducati Odioso project, an Offroad tricycle born from a 1999 ST4. A hell of a thing that, in addition to having the powerful twin cylinder of the Italian sport-touring company, It stood out above anything else because of its striking color scheme. Now it seems that it is looking for a new home, since its owners have recently decided to put it up for sale on the official Bike Exif website.
Reviewing the history of the Ducati Odioso, we remember that the Revival Cycles team made the decision to use a Ducati ST4 as the essential basis of the project. The idea was to create a Sidecar-cross like those that compete in countries like Australia and New Zealand. Its 996 cc V-twin engine is undoubtedly the most striking element of this preparation. We are talking about a maximum power of 120 hp at 9,000 rpma figure that must be carefully measured once we get behind the controls of the Ducati Odioso.
For the part it was decided to use the tubular chassis of the ST4 adding a sidecar subframe with long-travel suspension. The latter is made up of a KTM 48 mm WP inverted fork and a multi-adjustable Öhlins rear shock absorber. The 17” Warp wheels are shod with Metzler Karoo 3 tires in sizes 130/80/17, front and side, and 170/60/17 on the rear axle.
