It seems that the agreement between Triumph and Bajaj Auto continues to bear fruit, based on the latest images that we have seen of a test mule, a priori, which could be the new Scrambler T4. A variant of the current Scrambler 400X that, following the recipe already seen in the recently released Speed T4, would offer us the possibility of acquiring a “low cost” variant of the model, without losing the philosophy that it represents.
As we explained previously, after the official presentation of the Triumph Speed T4 400, the British firm seeks with these new options within its range to be able to offer a wider range of customers the possibility of accessing models as fashionable as its Modern Access classics. In the words of In the words of Rakesh SharmaCEO of Bajaj Auto Ltd.
“With the launch of the Triumph Speed T4 and Speed 400 MY25, we continue our commitment to expanding the Triumph range in India. These models combine tradition and innovation, offering something special to both relaxed and performance-seeking drivers. The Triumph and Bajaj alliance has sold nearly 60,000 TR series motorcycles in over 50 countries, including India.”
Triumph Scrambler T4: What we can expect
In short, we are looking at a motorcycle focused mainly on some Asian markets. This fact has led to Triumph choosing to apply this same formula with a more than likely Scrambler T4, as stated on their website by the friends of Rush Lane. The images of a test mule of the model give us an idea of what to expect and the changes that could be applied with respect to the premium version.
At first glance, in this Scrambler T4 We can see a different exhaust system, as well as an inverted front fork that loses the golden color that its range sister sports. The seat is also different, now one-piece and conventional in design. It also does not have the side tank protectors, the design of the tires or the handguards that the Scrambler 400X does use.
Likewise, as we already saw in the Speed T4, the future Scrambler version could also be subject to a reduction in its performance. Triumph declares for the occasion 31 HP at 7,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 36 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It is expected that in the coming weeks Triumph will offer us more details about this Scrambler T4 and reveal both the moment in which it will be officially presented, as well as the final price to be paid for it.
In India it is estimated that its price will be around 10% lower than that of the Scrambler 400X, starting from the 240,000 rupeesabout 2,700 euros at the exchange rate.
