When temperatures rise, off-roading requires more than just choosing a shady route or setting off first thing in the morning. Riding off-road during the summer can be especially demanding. A fast straight allows air to circulate, but the situation changes completely when it comes to tackling a slow-speed trial, pushing the bike up a complicated climb or chaining several laps on a motocross circuit.
At these times, the equipment must promote ventilation, accompany the pilot’s movements and avoid adding unnecessary load. With this philosophy the FLY Racing Kinetic Mesh set has been developed.
The jersey uses a multi-panel construction intended to offer a comfortable fit on the bike. Ventilation is especially concentrated on the sides and armpits, two areas where much of the heat accumulates during physical and demanding driving.

Ventilated but reinforced pants
The Kinetic Mesh pants complete the set with a combination of materials aimed at balancing ventilation, resistance and freedom of movement. Its structure uses elastic and light mesh, although the areas most exposed to wear use 900D polyester panels.
This combination is especially relevant in a discipline in which clothing is constantly exposed to friction with the motorcycle, branches, stones and terrain. Ventilation is important, but it cannot be achieved at the cost of excessively reducing the resistance of the assembly.
The pants also incorporate an inner mesh lining and multi-directional elastic panels, intended to facilitate the posture changes common in motocross and enduro. The knees are preformed and offer space to use most knee pads and protections available on the market.
Leather panels have been installed on the inside of the legs that act as a barrier against the heat generated by the motorcycle. These reinforcements are fixed by seams made with DuPont Kevlar thread resistant to high temperatures.
One of its most notable elements is the BOA system, which allows you to precisely regulate the waist. This solution is combined with a ratchet closure and an adjustable belt, ensuring that the pants remain secured even when the rider constantly moves on the motorcycle.
In addition, it has a locking zipper and a small interior pocket located on the waist to transport a small object.
Both the shirt and the pants have a standard cut. They are not excessively tight garments, but they also do not use a pattern that is too wide that could generate uncomfortable movements or snags.

Hydro Pack backpacks to drink while walking
Ventilation helps better manage heat, but is not a substitute for adequate hydration. On an off-road route, stopping continuously to get a bottle out of your backpack is not always practical, especially when riding in a group or going through areas where it is difficult to find an appropriate place to stop.
