Honda launches the new GB350 C, a neo retro with all the ingredients to succeed

We already told you about the future launch of the new Honda GB350 C last November 2023. At that time, we already knew part of the Japanese firm’s plans to offer this model in its local market.

These were none other than creating a neo-retro facelift of the standard version, which was known as the Honda H’Ness CB350 in the Indian market. In fact, it was almost an open secret that the anti- Royal Enfield india, the Honda H’Ness CB350would become international.

We can now confirm that Honda has officially launched the model, but with some key differences compared to the other two versions of the model: standard and GB350 S, both of which are lower in price than this one. GB350 C.

According to the brand’s own description: “The silhouette slopes gently from front to back and features such as voluminous front and rear fenders, front fork covers, a newly designed fuel tank with tank guard and horizontal muffler.”

“These changes give it a solid, calm presence. The headlight cover and instrument cluster surround are chrome-plated, and the dial has a classic font. We paid close attention to every detail, including the specially designed side cover with a three-dimensional emblem, and the thick, separate sheet with white piping, creating a look that exudes a sense of quality and warmth.”

The Honda GB350 C It is powered by a single-cylinder engine. 348 cc air-cooled, associated with a 5-speed gearbox, with a maximum power of 15 HP at 5,500 rpm and a declared final torque of 29 Nm at 3,000 rpm. It is fitted with alloy wheels fitted with 100/90-19M/C 57H tyres at the front and 130/70-18M/C 63H at the rear. The set is approved for a final weight of 186 kilogramswe do not know if including the 15 liters of gasoline that we can hold in its tank.

Regarding its main dimensions, the seat located at 800 mm from the groundmaking it a suitable and manageable bike for riders of almost any size. The wheelbase extends to 1,440 mmwhile the maximum length, width and height homologate final figures of 2,205mm × 790mm × 1,105mm.

Honda announces two color schemes for the GB350 C, Puco Blue and Gunmetal Black Metallic, with pricing starting at 668,800 yen, 4,255 euros at the current exchange rateThe brand estimates that it will sell around 2,000 units of the model over the next year. What we don’t know yet is whether this very special variant will end up arriving on our continent.
