Honda renews its high-performance sport-tourism, the NT1100 2025which in its version for next year reappears loaded with aesthetic, dynamic and comfort updates. The most notable of all of them is the arrival of a new version equipped with electronic suspension. This joins the standard and DCT variants, optionally offering optimized damping in any driving condition or situation.

On the other hand, general performance receives a substantial improvement thanks to changes to its 1,084 cc parallel twin engine and now has a redesign of the intake, combustion and exhaust. With these improvements, it produces 7% more torque at low and medium speeds, while maintaining its maximum power. The efficiency of the engine allows a range of 400 km with its 20 L gasoline tank.

Sharing the same engine upgrades as the 2024 Africa Twin, performance is now much stronger in terms of mid-range power and torque, as demonstrated by the dyno curves. The parallel twin-cylinder engine 1,084cc and 8 valves, with the crankshaft set at 270°, continues producing 102 HP at 7,500 rpm, with an increase in maximum torque up to 112 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

The bore remains 92mm with 81.5mm stroke; the compression ratio is now 10.5:1 (previously 10.1:1). In terms of performance, the brand declares a maximum speed of 200 km/h with an approved consumption of 5 liters per 100 kilometers traveled. Likewise, a powerful electronic arsenal works together with the mechanics, highlighting advanced systems such as the Throttle By Wire electronic accelerator, PGM-FI injection, six-axis IMU or 3 pre-programmed driving modes: Urban, Rain and Tour.

As standard, the 2025 NT1100 is offered with a six-speed manual gearbox, although Honda offers us a variant equipped with DCT. The latter has been subject to two improvements for the next season.

First, soften the start from a standstill and the control at low speed (below 10 km/h). On the other hand, the inclusion of a specific shift program to use the strongest engine torque at mid-range and the IMU curve detection.

The biggest novelty that integrates the new NT1100 2025 is the arrival of a version equipped with electronic suspension equipped with Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment damping. On the contrary, the semi-double cradle steel chassis remains unchanged, accompanied by an aluminum swingarm.

An inverted front fork is anchored in the standard version Showa 43mm SFF-BPcartridge type and with preload adjustment, in addition to 150 mm of travel. Behind it is a Pro-Link Showa monoshock with hydraulic adjustment and also 150 mm of travel.

For the brakes, a double 310 mm front disc with radially mounted four-piston calipers is relied on, assisted by another 256 mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper. 2-channel cornering ABS is standard. The equipment is anchored to a pair of 17″ finely cast aluminum wheels with a sand core that allows a hollow hub center for the front in common measurements of 120/70 and 180/55 respectively.

On them fall the 250 kilograms in running order (including the 12 kilos of suitcases), as declared by the brand.   • More aggressive and vigorous styling fairing, redesigned windshield that can be adjusted in five positions with one hand and longer fenders that offer greater protection against the elements.
  • The LED headlights with DRL now incorporate turn signals.
  • The larger capacity side cases offer space for a full-face helmet on each side.
  • Heated grips, as well as a center stand and USB and ACC sockets, all come as standard, as well as an instrument panel with a 6.5-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity.

For the 2025 model, the volume of the suitcases has expanded thanks to the 25 mm deeper lid, (which means that the new suitcases adapt to the previous model). The volume of the suitcase is now 37 L on the left and 36 L on the right (previously 33 L/32 L) and both cases have space for a full-face helmet.

As standard it also has suitcases, heated grips, center stand, cruise control and USB and ACC charging sockets. There is also full LED lighting, with daytime running lights, as well as self-canceling turn signals and an emergency stop signal.
