Milestone and MotoGP have launched Beyond the Grid today, a deep immersion in the next MotoGP25 installment. First developed in Unreal Engine 5the new MotoGP video game will have all the official content of the 2025 season, including great returns such as The legendary Brno Circuit in Czechas well as the most recent entry into the calendar, the Balaton Park circuit in Hungary.
It will also include innovative characteristics that will allow both newcomers and specialists to live the MotoGP experience. The new installment includes up to 78 pilots, 39 teams and 22 different circuits where to give free rein to our most competitive gene.
MotoGP25 in detail
The new Race Off mode will enrich and diversify the experience more than ever, allowing players to test in different types of motorcycles, for the first time in the history of the franchise. Like real pilots, fans can train in three unique disciplines with different physics and handling, available both in the race and in solo event.
You can choose between the Motard, fast motorcycles useful to learn to master speed and handling, the Flat Track, an off -road motorcycle that will challenge players to maintain control even in lower grip conditions, or minibikes, small, but precise two -wheeled vehicles that require a high level of precision to dominate. Each type of motorcycle will sharpen the players’ skills and also unlock special rewards.
MotoGP25 also marks the introduction of two different driving physics, which will allow everyone to run according to their preferences. Arcade experience is perfect for those who want to enter fully into action without forgetting authenticity. Motorcycle handling is simpler and there is no need to think too much about configurations and settings. It will offer players a rapid and accessible gameplay that continues to capture the MotoGP essence.
The pro experience, on the other hand, promises to be the pinnacle of the simulation. Players can modify numerous elements, such as motorcycle configuration, tire management, driving aid, electronics and fuel consumption. This is a more refined experience for those who want to feel the most realistic career sensations.
Another especially attractive novelty of this new delivery is the refined motorcycle development system, which will put performance improvements in the hands of the players. In this sense, communication with the team will be fundamental, since players can suggest changes to team engineers in specific reports and meetings after the race. Once the motorcycle has been modified based on the player’s contributions, it will be possible to evaluate the updates in designated test sessions, in a continuous search for perfection.
This feature once again leads the franchise to a new level of realism, allowing everyone to live a true motorcycle journey. To further raise the experience, MotoGP25 offers an important audio improvement. Motorcycles will roar stronger than ever, thanks to an excellent sound design made as it will grant the most surround sound of the franchise.
Outside the track, rivalries with other pilots will be even clearer thanks to the renewed social relations management. A new HUD will help players better understand the status of each competitor and anticipate their movements based on the evolution of their rivalry. Of course, everything will be reviewed by the MotoGP Commissioners of the FIM, the career control system introduced in the last chapter that has now been updated to the latest regulations, while the behavior and results of the players will have a great impact on the opportunities available in the pilot market during the preseason.
As for the multiplayer, in MotoGP25, players can challenge each other online and offline with the complete Cross-Play available from day one, the new qualifying races, the live GP championship and the local divided screen mode for two players. Finally, MotoGP25 unleashes the creativity of its community through editors in the game, from the helmet to the sticker, the dorsal and the patch in the rear, to the new emoticons of the podium, with the possibility of sharing creations with the rest of the world.
MotoGP25 will be available on April 30, 2025 in PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam and Epic Game Store.
