Incredible! Yamaha could launch a Niken with artificial intelligence and avant -garde technology

In the last season of 2023, Yamaha gave a removal to his spectacular Yamaha Niken. Equipped with slight updates with which to increase its Sport Touring facet, the current model is shown as a comfortable, stable and is designed for those pilots who want something unique and different.

Equipped with the latest generation of Yamaha’s CP3 tricylinder, the Niken offers us until 115 hp at 10,000 rpm managed by a top -level technological compendium. This includes accelerator controlled by Yamaha (YCC-T), clutch Assist and Slipper (A&S) and accelerator position sensor (APSG). Also three driving modes, Sport, Street and Rain or traction control with three levels of intervention: 1 (minimum), 2 (maximum) and off, deactivated.

The most technological niken to date

Now, thanks to Ride Apart’s colleagues, we have known the request for registration of different patents by Yamaha. All of them seem to be related to the Niken. These were taken in the European Patent Office and, according to the images we have, we can confirm that, if definitively implemented in the model, this would go one step further in technological matters.

As we know, the Niken equips a steel foundry management column that holds the front LMW system. Now this would include independent traction in each of the wheels that make up the front axle. To do this, the Japanese brand would include a series of sensors in charge of controlling parameters as essential as the angle of inclination or the speed at which we circulate.

Yamaha could be working on a new new generation niken

Using these technological resources, the next generation Niken could be equipped with an antivuelco system. The detection of frontal collision would also be included, something that is not novel within the two -wheeled sector, but it is always interesting to have it in any vehicle on the market. Said this, another of the patents could be related to the “Concept of inclined multirueda.”

One of the descriptive texts of this patent explains that: “The inclined vehicle is not limited to the motorcycle, and can be, for example, a three -wheeled motor vehicle or similar. The three -wheeled motor vehicle can include two front wheels and one rear, or alternately, a front wheel and two rear.”

Yamaha could be working on a new new generation niken

It is still early to know Yamaha’s intentions regarding the future Niken. While the Japanese firm offers us some more detail about it, we urge you to take a look at the test that we carry out at the controls of the last evolution of the model.
