Kove continues to do its thing and this involves gradually expanding its respective model ranges. The latest to join its current offering is this 800X GT, a model of which we already gave you the first glimpses in the detailed article about all the new features presented by the brand itself within the incomparable setting provided by the Milan Motor Show.
Now we know the main aspects of the model, all of them oriented towards a more touring use of this consolidated ADV platform.
Kove 800X GT 2026 in detail
As we say, Kove has worked on the main aspects with which to give this 800X GT more defined touring qualities. Starting with the addition of a larger capacity fuel tank, now with 22 litersfor the 20 liters of the Pro variant. Another revised aspect of the set is the size of wheels and tires chosen for the occasion. In this section, the Asian firm has opted for 110/80-R19 CST rubber (for the 21″ of the offroad variant) at the front and 150/70 R17 at the rear.
There are also changes to the suspension, now with a travel of 210 mm on both axles, reducing the diameter of its KYB inverted front fork to 43 mm. Likewise, we find a different braking system than those used by its sister, the 800X Pro. In this case, the front discs of the 800X GT are of the lobed type and are actuated by floating double-piston calipers.
All in all, Kove declares an empty weight of 215 kilos, including the suitcase equipment that is presented as part of the optional equipment that the model has. It also has a quick shift, TCS, cruise control, heated seats and grips, and a steering damper. On the other hand, as is already the case with the 800X Pro, the new Kove model includes ride-by-wire electronic accelerator and four driving modes.
In mechanical terms, no changes are expected, with the already known twin-cylinder block, DOHC, 8 valves, water-cooled and with a 75° crankshaft as the main protagonist of this section. Therefore, the 95 HP at 9,000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 80 Nm available at 7,500 rpm. The Chinese brand declares a maximum speed of 210 km/h. Likewise It will be offered in 35 and 69.5 KW versions, trying to cover the widest possible range of audiences.
It is not clear when it will officially arrive at the brand’s European dealerships, nor what its final official price will be. Taking into account the current rate of its sisters, it is expected that, in no case, this 800X GT will exceed 9,000 euros. We can confirm all this when the Chinese firm confirms the launch of the model on our continent.
