Brembo continues to apply its emission reduction policy with state -of -the -art products such as the Gerentell braking equipment. In the words of Daniele SchillaciBrembo CEO, on the occasion of the official presentation of the record game and pills that make up this kit, he commented: “In Brembo, we do not limit ourselves to complying with the regulations and the law. We go further. We strive to the maximum to anticipate and even overcome the needs of customers”
Concludes: “Our dedication to innovation and sustainability drives us to create products that exceed expectations. We understand that our final clients and consumers expect the best of us. That is why we commit ourselves to offer solutions always to the avant -garde.”
Brembo Greentell in detail
On the occasion of the International Auto Shanghai 2025, Brembo took advantage of its presence in it to publicize one of its latest innovations in braking systems, the Gerentell kit. This, composed of a new album and pills that offer a Superior performance, greater durability, corrosion resistance and emission reduction. A new advance in anticontamination that adds to the also known Greenance ecological brake pads.
The name of Greentell was born from the fusion of the words “Green” and “Intelligence”, and in it the Italian brand has wanted to reflect the key characteristics of the product, emphasizing, on the one hand, the reduction of environmental impact up to 85% and on the other the research behind these products to improve the general performance of the set in terms of durability and in terms of reduction of dust emissions.
Innovation after this solution lies in the application of a double -layer coat without nickel (patent in process) through laser metal deposition technology (LMD). Thanks to a data -based approach, Brembo has been perfecting this technology for a long time, perfectly integrating the LMD into its production plants and continuously expanding its experience in the emission study to define more innovative solutions for the braking industry.
The application of the double coating layer using the LMD process, together with the brake pads, significantly increases the resistance and durability of the disc without compromising its performance. This coating can be applied to different types of discs, such as integrals, dual, light and floating cast iron. In combination with pills, it guarantees a reduction of surface wear of 80 % compared to an equivalent molten iron disk without coating.
In addition, the Greentell team drastically reduce brake powder emissions during braking up to approximately 90 %anticipating the next Euro 7 regulations on brake systems emissions, which will enter into force in 2026. Likewise, the company has also developed its own dust measurement test bench, one of the most advanced for the study of particle emissions.
On the other hand, the album itself carries the Easy Check brand with the Brembo logo, with the possibility of customization with the manufacturer’s logo. When the image of Easy Check disappears from the braking surface, it is time to change the album.
