Luca Salvadori Foundation is born to help accident victims

After the death of Luca Salvadori in a tragic accident in Frohburg (Germany), his father made it clear that he wanted to continue keeping his son’s memory alive through different actions. One of them was to keep his son’s YouTube channel, and that Luca had one of the most powerful thematic channels of the Italian and European panorama.

In this way Luca has been very present, but now Maurizio and Mónica, have promoted the Luca Salvadori Foundation that seeks to continue the passion and spirit of the Italian pilot, turning the loss into a project that helps those who are happening the same situation that the Salvadori family has had to face.

Thus, the new Luca Salvadori Foundation will dedicate themselves to helping motorists victims of accidents and their families, guaranteeing help in rehabilitation processes, psychological support and legal advice. But that is not all, they will also be responsible for promoting the culture of security as a central value both in the races and on the road.

The Luca Salvadori Foundation has an important support in Italy

The Luca Salvadori Foundation is already underway and has been possible thanks to the contribution of Maurizio himself, in charge of financing the initial fund, plus donations of different entrepreneurs linked to the world of the motor and companies that have also supported

For example, AgV has given up 23 Luca replica helmets, designed by Nicolas Casadei de CSD Design, the same artist who created the original models used by the pilot. The helmets, numbered and available on the official website of the Foundation, will be sold entirely for the benefit of solidarity activities.

They also have the support of EICMA and, to reinforce the mission raised from the beginning, a scientific technical committee has also been constituted with the participation of Dr. Riccardo Ceccalli and the doctors of Formula Medicine, Marco Cupisti and Matteo Bartalucci, international referents in psychophysical preparation.

In this moment of celebration among the sadness that the loss supposes, Maurizio wanted to say a few words: “The Luca Salvadori Foundation was born to transform the greatest pain into a specific commitment to those who live similar situations. No one should face the consequences of an accident. That is why I thank those who have believed from the beginning in this project, the people who have been by my side and the entire community of Luca. It is only the beginning of a path that wants to leave a positive and lasting mark in the world of the two wheels.”
