Last week we saw Jorge Martín get back on a motorcycle. The Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya was chosen and the sensations had to be quite positive, not only because of the images we saw, but because the Madrid already has a return date to get back to the RS-GP aprilia.
The recovery process, therefore, continues as planned and, as confirmed by its last review, the evolution is positive, although it still had to complete. The estimated deadline for this complete recovery and, therefore, for a possible approval to return to the competition was about two weeks although before that, nine days later to be exact, Martín will pilot a MotoGP again.
Thanks to the changes in the regulations for pilots that have been injured, Jorge will be able to carry out a private test day with his motorcycle and will do so at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. It will be, consequently, a more interesting contact to know in which state of recovery it is.
That Martín do the tests does not confirm that he will be in Brno
Of course, the one that Martin participates in this test day and also would have done so at the end of last week with a RSV4 in Montmeló, does not mean that the current world champion will take part in the GP of the Czech Republic that will take place next week in Brno.
In fact, it must be remembered that Martín does not have the approval to compete this weekend at the German Grand Prix, although he will get on the motorcycle on Wednesday, that is, two days before he began. In that sense, the path marked precisely during the GP of the Netherlands, where it was expected to be able to be able to do the test the same week of the GP of Germany, but the appointment in the Czech Republic was placed as a possible return to the competition.
Will we see Jorge in the Czech Republic? Everything will depend on, first, if you get the approval by doctors and, second, on the physical sensations you may have in the Misano test. We must not forget that in case of not running in Brno, I would have to wait for the return of the summer pause to return to MotoGP, and that would be in the Austrian GP in mid -August.
