The Chinese model market continues to grow at the speed of light with new models like our protagonist today, the Siekon Cruise Prince. A kind of plug-in “Gold Wing China”, and with an unattractive image?
We already know that tastes are like asses: everyone has their own. However, the shapes of this particular model are not what they say are very flattering.
Siekon Cruise Prince in detail
We assume that you have not heard of Siekon. We, in fact, didn’t know anything about the brand either until we discovered an article in New Atlas, which shows some of the new products that it has recently shown at the Canton Fair. Among them is the Cruise Prince, a touring model with clear inspiration from the queen of the sector: Honda’s Gold Wing.
Beyond personal tastes or appreciations, there are the technical aspects that the brand has declared in its official presentation. For example, it equips an electric motor with permanent magnets capable of generating a peak power of 21 kW. Also that it is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 140km/h and go until 260 kilometers with a single charge. This is thanks to the use of a lithium battery 144 V and 73 Ah.
Other interesting facts about the Cruise Prince are, for example, the use of an inverted front fork, 17” wheels on both axles or a double disc brake anchored to its front wheel. Siekon states that to obtain a full charge, we need an estimated time of around 3.5 hours.
At the equipment level, the Cruise Prince shows a complete set of suitcases, a sound system, a large screen as an instrument panel or a USB connection, among others. Although it will not be until the end of this year when the Chinese firm officially launches it on the market, it is evident that a model with these characteristics will be difficult for us to see rolling on European roads in the short term.
By the way, and as a curiosity, have you noticed the shapes and design of its logo?… From Milwaukee, more than one must be praying in Aramaic.
