The Minister of Environment and Tourism, and president of the circuit, Manuel Blasco, has visited the construction work at MotorLand Aragón to learn the details of its status and execution, together with the mayor of Alcañiz, Miguel Ángel Estevan and the managing director of the circuit, Jorge Panadés.
In a few days the action will be completed, which has made it possible to renew the main accesses and external roads that connect the different circuits of the complex. A strategic improvement for both daily operations and large-scale sporting events.
The works at MotorLand Aragón will end next month
The work has included repairing potholes, scarifying the platform, applying new granular bases and spreading hot bituminous mixes, in addition to the comprehensive improvement of the drainage and containment systems.
Horizontal signage has also been renewed and new beacon systems have been installed to reinforce safety in the most sensitive sections. “The adaptation of these roads is a priority investment for MotorLand, since having optimal infrastructure is key to coordinating and planning mobility throughout the complex”the counselor highlighted during the visit.
The work, which covers eight exterior roads attached to the circuit, involves an investment of 2 million euros from the Teruel Investment Fund, and is scheduled to be completed next December.
With this intervention, MotorLand Aragón takes another step in its objective of offering modern, safe and fan-oriented facilities. The improvement of access reinforces the preparation of the complex to face the next sporting season with guarantees, and continue to consolidate itself as one of the benchmarks in Motorsport.
