Motosudent 2025 is committed to sustainability in its VIII edition, with more than 80 registered teams

From October 15 to 19 Motorland Aragón It will host the VIII Motosudent edition, the university competition in which teams from all over the world compete with their prototypes. In total, there are registered 85 teams from 19 countries which has meant the shipment of about 5 tons of material, adding more than 90,000 km on its paths to Technopark, the equivalent of two laps to the planet. A milestone that reinforces the international magnitude of competition and its commitment to sustainability, innovation and technology.

The more than 85 teams arrive from European countries such as Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary or Croatia, as well as representatives of other continents such as Brazil, the United States, Canada and India, among others.

In addition, it highlights the incorporation of more than 10 Rookies teams that compete for the first time in Motosudent, including Spanish universities such as the University of Deusto, as well as prestigious international institutions such as the University of California, in Berkeley (USA UU.) And the University of Twente (Netherlands).

Registered teams have begun to receive the official kits provided by the Motosudent Organization, composed of key pieces for the development of their prototypes, of leading brands that guarantee high quality and avant -garde technology.

Among the outstanding elements are, the engines, both the KTM 250 SX-F adapted to function for the first time with 100% renewable fuel in the Efuel category, as the electric motor developed together with Circe, who brings its Know-How in electric mobility as a technological partner, and a set of Bridgestone tires, official supplier of the VIII edition.

In addition, other Motosudent collaborators will provide components such as a J. Juan brake kit and a Bender IMD, which students must integrate and optimize according to their own designs and strategies. Motosudent bets on efficiency and sustainability with a new motor delivery and reuse system. This model reduces the waste of materials and optimizes resources, aligning with the best practices of high competition.

Thanks to this initiative, the teams will have a common technical basis that will facilitate the evolution of their prototypes through continuous improvements. In addition, the engines will be available shortly after formalizing the registration, expediting the development of the projects. The organization also guarantees its maintenance and technical review after each edition, ensuring maximum performance and quality.

Motosudent 2025: reaching new goals

The VIII edition has marked a before and after in the history of the competition by transforming the traditional category of internal combustion, Motosudent Petrol, in the innovative Motosudent Efuel, which uses 100% renewable fuel. Together with the Motosudent Electric category, the competition becomes the only one in the world with completely sustainable categories, endorsed by the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM).

This historic change was announced in Motorland Aragón, during the Gopro Grand Prix of Aragon 2024, with the support of prominent figures such as Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, and Francesco Guidotti, KTM Team Manager. This advance consolidates Motosudent as a world reference in promoting sustainable mobility. The final Motosudent 2025 event will convert Motorland Aragón into the epicenter of university innovation in motorcycling.

From October 15 to 19, 2025, the teams will test their prototypes in demanding technical and speed tests on the same route where MotoGP pilots compete. During the weekend, access will be free for all fans and curious who want to discover the largest university talent ecosystem in the sector.

In addition, the event will offer an immersive experience with activities for all audiences in the Paddock, the Fan Zone and the Children’s Area, making Motosudent an unmissable appointment for engine lovers and innovation.
