MotoGP brings its most legendary motorcycles to EICMA 2026: 35 historic machines in a unique exhibition

From Mugello to Misano, with Milan as the destination. EICMA.SHIFT UP accelerate fully. Just over three months after announcing the strategic alliance between MotoGP and EICMA, the two global platforms in the world of two wheels have presented “Legends of Speed” on the occasion of the last Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini, the first major project resulting from their collaboration.

An exhibition that, for the first time in the history of the Milan Motor Show, will bring to the International Two-Wheel Vehicle Exhibition an important exhibition dedicated to more than 70 years of racing worldwide. From November 5 to 8, 2026 More than 1,400 square meters in pavilion 22 will house some 35 of the most iconic and representative motorcycles of the Motorcycle World Championship.

“Legends of Speed”: A historical and championship sporting legacy

Visitors to “Legends of Speed” will delight in some of the motorcycles that have tasted glory in the world championship. The tour will begin with the AJS Porcupine 500 the motorcycle on which Leslie Graham won the inaugural 500cc World Championship title in 1949. Also present will be the MV Agusta 500 three and four cylinders driven by Giacomo Agostini and Phil Read.

Neither the Yamahas that marked the history of the premier class, including Valentino Rossi’s, nor the legendary Honda NSR or the Suzuki RGV from Kevin Schwantz and Franco Uncini, through the Ducati of the most recent era and an absolute masterpiece of Italian engineering, the Moto Guzzi 500 V8 . To complete the tour, official MotoGP motorcycles from the five manufacturers competing in the 2026 World Championship will be on displaygathered as part of the exhibition.

Motorcycles and unique pilots protagonists

In “Legends of Speed” motorcycles and riders will be the protagonists of an immersive exhibition that will draw a parallel between the evolution of technology and that of the riders who have continued to push the limits of speed. A striking visual installation, archival images and materials, audiovisual and interactive content will create an experience designed to captivate both the most passionate fans and new generations.

The project has been developed by EICMA together with MotoGP, with the participation of the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) to show and celebrate the historical and sporting legacy of the Championship. Carlos Ezpeleta, deputy general director of MotoGP Group, commented after the official presentation of “Legends of Speed”: “Our alliance with EICMA allows us to bring MotoGP even closer to fans and tell the story of our sport beyond the circuits.”

In November, motorcycling’s top category will be integrated into the EICMA experience through activations and touchpoints throughout the event, fan initiatives, digital content and public-facing activities. These include the MotoGP Gaming Arenaa space dedicated to video games and the new generations, which will add a new dimension to the MotoGP experience within the Italian exhibition.
