Although four days have passed since the accident during the Malaysian GP of Noah Dettwiler and José Antonio Rueda, the feeling does not change. The most shocking accident that has been caught on camera in recent times in the championship has kept the entire community in suspense, but positive news is finally beginning to arrive.
And after the same accident and the helicopter transfer of the two pilots to hospitals, the news has been arriving in dribs and drabs and the leaked information was as chilling as the images themselves.
Fortunately, we are now at another point in the situation. And as the CIP Green Power team confirmed in a brief statement on their social networks, Noah Dettwiler’s situation is no longer critical and has become stable. To this they added that he will continue to be monitored in the intensive care unit and they were grateful for the support received.
There is no doubt that it is a great relief, because for the first time since the accident and the operations carried out on Sunday, it is the first time that it has been confirmed that there is no fear for the life of the Swiss pilot right now.
Dettwiler progresses and Rueda will return to Spain soon
Meanwhile, José Antonio Rueda, who also had to receive urgent medical attention on the track itself, is feeling much better and could return to Spain in the next few hours. The Sevillian has had to be under observation due to the blows to the lungs and also the head trauma that the medical team was waiting for during the first hours.
In the case of Rueda, it is known that he will undergo surgery on his hand once he arrives in Barcelona. Meanwhile, we will have to continue waiting for new official updates on Dettwiller’s physical condition although, taking into account the way the team and family are managing it, it is possible that it will take days again to have them.
