Only Call of Duty fans will recognize the disturbing character of this new HJC helmet

The relationship between the world of motorcycles and popular culture continues to give rise to increasingly striking collaborations. H.J.C.one of the firms with the greatest international presence in the motorcycling equipment sector, has now presented the RPHA 12 Mr. Peeks Call of Duty, a special edition that takes the aesthetics of one of the most mysterious characters in the universe to the road. Call of Duty: Zombies.

The protagonist of this collaboration is Mr. Peeks, a creature who, under the seemingly innocent appearance of a stuffed rabbit, has become one of the most recognizable symbols of the Zombies franchise. Its image deliberately mixes the endearing with the disturbing, a combination that HJC has transferred to the shell of its reference sports helmet.

We are not, therefore, facing a simple decoration with logos or corporate colors. The manufacturer has tried to reproduce the visual personality of the character through an elaborate graphic that highlights blue tones, worn seams and different effects that imitate aged fabric. The result is a finish that directly recalls the look of an old ragdoll, although reinterpreted on the sharp and aerodynamic lines of a modern full-face helmet.

This mix between vintage aesthetics, video game references and sports design makes the RPHA 12 Mr. Peeks a particularly unique proposal. It will be immediately recognizable to Call of Duty fans, but it may also attract bikers who are simply looking for a different decoration, far from traditional racing designs, replica pilots or more conventional graphic combinations.

The sports base of the HJC RPHA 12

Beyond its striking exterior image, this special edition maintains the technical characteristics of the HJC RPHA 12, one of the highest level full-face helmets in the brand’s catalogue. It is a model designed to offer performance both on the road and on the track, with special attention to aerodynamics, stability and comfort at high speed.

The shell is manufactured using PIM technology, Premium Integrated Matrix, a construction developed by HJC to combine lightness, resistance and structural rigidity. The helmet also has ECE 22.06 approval, the European regulations currently required for new models marketed within its scope of application.

The aerodynamic work constitutes another of the fundamental points of the RPHA 12. According to the information provided by the brand, its shapes are designed to reduce air resistance and improve stability when driving at high speeds. This feature is especially important in sports driving, where turbulence and head movements can cause fatigue as the kilometers pass.

Well-resolved aerodynamics not only help keep the helmet stable in a straight line. It also allows you to make head movements in a more natural way when changing position on the motorcycle, looking for the inside of a curve or checking what is happening around you. In this sense, HJC presents the RPHA 12 as a helmet prepared to respond both on road routes and during a day of circuit driving.

Optimized ventilation and better visibility

RPHA 12 Mr. Peeks Call of Duty

The ventilation system has also received specific attention. The RPHA 12 uses different air inlets and outlets designed to promote internal circulation and evacuate heat accumulated inside the helmet. Efficient airflow helps maintain a more comfortable temperature, especially during warm months or when physically demanding driving.

HJC also points out that this system helps improve anti-fog performance. To reinforce this section, the helmet includes as standard a Pinlock 120 XLT DKS495 lens, designed to reduce the appearance of condensation on the inside of the screen.

Along with the main transparent screen, the buyer will also receive a Dark Smoke screen. This smoked visor provides an even more aggressive aesthetic to the set and can be especially useful in high light conditions, always taking into account the appropriate conditions of use and visibility.

The safety equipment is completed with an Emergency Kit, a system designed to facilitate the quick and safe removal of certain parts inside the helmet in the event of an accident. This type of solutions allows emergency services to act more easily during an intervention.

Available from size 2XS to 2XL

RPHA 12 Mr. Peeks Call of Duty

The new HJC RPHA 12 Mr. Peeks Call of Duty will be available in a wide range of sizes, from 2XS to 2XL, which will allow it to be adapted to riders with different head sizes. The brand also offers a five-year warranty.

Its arrival at points of sale is scheduled for the end of July, with a recommended retail price of 649.90 euros. The figure places this special edition within the premium segment, in line with the positioning of the RPHA 12 and with the exclusive character of a decoration developed under an official Call of Duty license.

With this launch, HJC once again opts for designs linked to entertainment and popular culture, although without giving up a technical base oriented towards sports driving. The RPHA 12 Mr. Peeks is a helmet designed to attract attention from the first moment, but also to offer the features, protection and equipment expected from one of the firm’s most advanced models.

A particularly attractive piece for collectors, fans of Call of Duty: Zombies and motorcyclists who want to wear a design that is as disturbing as it is recognizable every time they get on the motorcycle.

Happy drivers
