Premiering the new SV-7GX this summer has a travel-flavored reward

Just a few months ago Suzuki officially introduced us to the new SV-7GXa mount loaded with good dynamic abilities that enters the mid-size crossover segment through the front door. The Hamamatsu brand has left nothing behind when configuring its innovative model. To do this, it transfers the renowned SV concept to a more versatile, comfortable and travel-ready proposal.

The new SV-7GX combines the agility of a standard naked bike with a more upright riding position, greater aerodynamic protection and ergonomics designed to cope with both daily use and medium and long distance routes. Its general approach reinforces its versatility without giving up the dynamic character that has historically defined this renowned family of models.

Suzuki SV-7GX: general balance as a hallmark

One of its main differentiating features is the 645 cm³ 90-degree V-twin engine, with 73 hp. This configuration, increasingly less common in the segment, offers progressive power delivery, good mid-range response and refined operation, giving the SV-7GX its own mechanical personality compared to other proposals with more conventional architecture.

The mechanics are accompanied by an efficient chassis section that highlights the tubular steel chassis, characteristic of the SV family, the 41 mm telescopic front suspension and the rear monoshock with seven levels of adjustment. The braking system with double 290 mm front discs and four-piston calipers, together with the standard ABS, complete this section.

Needless to say, the SV-7GX has a complete and select technological compendium, with state-of-the-art systems such as the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, SIRS, which brings together technologies such as the Ride-by-Wire electronic accelerator, the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, the STCS traction control with three levels and the bi-directional Quick Shifter. Added to this is a 4.2-inch TFT screen, full LED lighting and connectivity through Suzuki Ride Connect+, configuring a complete proposal in terms of technology, comfort and functionality.
