The European Union continues to believe those who support their policies that, prohibiting such essential materials in some sectors, such as Carbon fiberwill save the world of the environmental debacle that is supposed to come. But along the way they will devastate with all those industries in charge of giving work and prosperity, to a good part of that same society stipulated in implementing all this type of ideologies.
However, reality is usually quite far from the ideals of all these people. Maybe for that, Ultimately, they seem to have discarded the idea of including carbon fiber within the list of products to be eliminatedfor the supposed difficulty to be processed and recycled once it has concluded its useful life.
What are the real motifs of the EU to want to eliminate carbon fiber?
As we all know at this point, the European Union and its policies usually create research commissions about anything that is passed through their heads. As they argue from their bosom, they are based on the reports that they themselves prepare with the help of scientists and “experts.” What they do not tell citizens is that those same professionals are salary people of the entity itself.
Therefore, the results of these reports are usually quite positive for the interests of the European Union, which not of the citizens that we inhabit within it. Wanting to prohibit the use of carbon fiber by 2029 (now deny that this will happen), is a good example to put this restrictive system in context. In them it has been concluded that the filaments produced, a consequence of their decomposition and recycling, are usually suspended in the air and, to become in contact with human skin, could be harmful to it.
What this report does not speak of is of the advantages at all levels that carbon fiber has in multiple specialized sectors, where it manages to offer a level of stiffness and lightness practically unmatched by any other material. Not to mention its durability, elasticity and ability to adapt to high temperatures. In this way, other heavy materials can be dispensed with and reduce fashion factors today as fuel consumption: at a lower weight, lower expense.
We do not know if these aspects have been analyzed by our politicians on duty. Nor have they calculated the impact on the economy of the millions of people who, in any way, are directly linked to the manufacture and sale of carbon fiber. Perhaps the latter care about a fuck, especially if we take into account the well -known motto that protects their bureaucratic agenda for the following years: “You will not have anything and you will be happy.”
