Razgatlioglu sharpens the ax and bimota approaches

Misano will host the next round of the Superbike World Cup in three weekends and one of the peculiar things that the WSBK has is that sometimes there are previous tests. This is what is happening at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for two days. An important contact because although the circumstances are not the same as in the weekend of competition, it can be quite advanced in relation to tuning.

Even so, as almost as long as we have test, the only thing that transcends is the quick lap and in that sense we can say that Toprak Razgatlioglu has not disappointed. The Turk has been the fastest grill and also with a remarkable margin about the second best return of the day, signed by Axel Bassani with the KB998 Rimini Bimota, although more than half a second of the best time.

Bimota is getting closer, but there is still a long way

In third position, but six tenths slower than Razgatlioglu we find Iker Lecuona with the Honda CBR1000RR-R and we do not locate the first Ducati pilot, Álvaro Bautista, until the fourth position. Of course, in this case the Spanish sought to recover sensations and together with Razgatlioglu have been the two pilots who completed the most turns on this first day with a total of 88.

After Bautista we already found several Ducati and also in similar times, including Sam Lowes, Yari Montela and Danilo Petrucci. The last of the pilots in shooting in less than a second of Toprak has been Jonathan Rea, which is also the best Yamaha of the day. Gerloff and Gardner completed a top 10 in which there is a great absent: Nicolò Bulega

The leader of the championship did not even go on a Misano track on the first day, although without reporting the reasons and being registered. Now we only need to expect what happens on the second day and if times improve or, at least, the rest approach a reasoning that continues to demonstrate an unbeatable level with its BMW.
