The new TR27 was born facing an important engineering challenge: maintaining the efficient dynamic behavior of the latest SHAD releases in a new rectangular lateral architecture. To achieve this, the brand has developed a hybrid structure that combines high-strength reinforced polypropylene with an anodized aluminum top cover.
In this way, the balance between weight, structural rigidity and durability is optimized. In addition, its design guarantees impeccable aesthetic integration with our high-capacity top cases, such as the TR41, TR46 or SH51.
SHAD TR27 in detail
Behind its development there are several years of work and more than 3,000 hours of engineeringvalidation and technical tests. The TR27 has surpassed over 400 hours of vibration testing (shaker), focused especially on optimizing anchor points and reinforcing structural areas subjected to greater dynamic stresses. Waterproofing has also been one of the key focuses of the project.
After multiple pressurized water tests from different angles, the TR27 reaches a level of protection equivalent to the standard IPX5guaranteeing maximum tightness even in demanding conditions. In addition, the suitcase has been subjected to impact resistance, thermal fatigue, forced opening, noise detection and transport validation tests, ensuring the quality and durability standards characteristic of SHAD.
At a functional level, the TR27 incorporates an integrated closing system that allows opening, locking and extraction to be managed from a single mechanism. It also highlights its push-button opening system, designed to improve comfort and safety. It has integrated top hooks to attach external luggage, maximizing volume up to a total of 7 kg load.
The new TR27 is compatible with both the 3P System—patented by SHAD—and the 4P Systemguaranteeing a solid fixation and a very harmonious aesthetic integration with the motorcycle.
