You can never take too much care of a motorcycle, especially if it’s an off-road bike. The wear and tear on the components is taken to the extreme, and one of the things that suffers the most is the sprockets. That’s why the British firm RFX has launched the new RFX Pro Series Elite, an improved version of the successful RFX Elite.
RFX Elite sprockets have been a benchmark in off-road racing in recent years. With a high strength-to-weight ratio, they have become the perfect ally for top-level British and European riders. Cedric Soubeyras, Angelo Pellegrini, Evgény Bóbryshev, Shaun Simpson, Matīss Karro and Dylan Walsh, Conrad Mewse and Tommy Searle are some of the riders who have trusted the firm.
Now, the new RFX Pro Series Elite arrives to replace it with a renewed version that maintains all the features that made the RFX Elite great, such as the solid inner ring or the grooves to clear mud, adding a new design with reinforcing bellows that make the piece stronger and lighter.
It also incorporates chamfers on the cutouts that add a touch of design but, more importantly, lighten the set without compromising strength and structure, while facilitating mud evacuation. The teeth have also been modified, in order to make the chain release more easily from the RFX Pro Series Elite, something that directly affects the durability of both, which will improve.
The RFX Pro Series Elite is made from premium materials
To achieve this improvement on the RFX Pro Series Elite, the crown is created from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, which is then machined into a finished piece before being either anodized or polished. A total of six different color finishes are available.
And best of all, after being tested by the RFX product development team and riders, it can now be yours through the Bihr website for a price of 50.41 euros including VAT.
